Went hunting a Souva recently and went to Eaton St Oakleigh under the gimps recommendation. I chose Mythos out of about 6 Souvlaki bars. Excellent feed.

As I ate it, the spirits of Hrysoulakis
and Karnezis, were sitting next to me.
They do a nice one but my favourite is Orexi up Portman st, brilliant meat platter right there! Kalimera has a good reputation but I don't rate it.

How do you watch games over there re?

What do the relos think of our great game?

And have you got a Sherin to kick at the parks and on the beaches up there so they can look at ya and think... Wtf is that reeee.
Sports streaming sites re.
Relos are all fools like you who think soccer is a good game. You're all wrong re.
Nah, haven't got a sherrin. Was going to order one online but no one to kick it with re.

Your shadow re.. I promise.. you won't land on your face.. try it re.
But I kick into the sun which means my shadow is behind me (probably looking to go the spoil), no matter how hard I try I can't get him to stand in front of me.
Must say he's got a build like an Adonis re.

Seriously how hard is it.
It's a place just near the town of Marmaris.
Got to admit us Turks and Greeks are lucky to have access to such wonderful coastlines as The Aegean and The Mediterranean.
It's always a hard choice as to which one to go to.
The coastline of The Mediterranean is nicer in my opinion but the water of The Aegean is just spectacular. Crystal clear. Also the water in The Aegean is cooler. Sometimes I find The Mediterranean water a bit too warm.

This is not unusual at all.
Ask an American IN the US and they'll say they have an, Italian, Greek, Polish etc., background.

Ask the same person OUT of the US and they'll say they are American.

It just shows that there is often a clarification required (by the questioner) in your 'home' country regarding your ethnicity, that is not relevant outside that County.

No you are misunderstanding me, people will say they have a background of 'X' ethnicity when asked specifically about their heritage, but refer to themselves as American/Australian in general or at worst an Italian/Greek/African - American (Australian).

I'm talking about people who call themselves or identify as purely greek/italian/french/new zealand/african/indian etc full stop, but are Australian raised and born some even 3rd generation+ and mixed ethnicity, they will often support that nation vs their own country for example.

Some of it starts when first introduced. I know in my case because I have an unusual name, I am always asked where I am from despite being in Australia for decades, coming here as a 5 year old.

I don't have any memories of my birthplace (never been back) and consider myself a dinky die Aussie. I still maintain some traditions, family and moral values taught to me as a child. But I think that because of looks (colour of skin), name, accent etc it is easier to identify from place of birth as that is what you are asked about.

Are you saying you know Australian born people of say greek/italian/french/new zealand/african/indian backgorund, who when travelling a broad would quote the later as their ethnicity rather than say they are Aussies?

I've yet to find any person like that.

I'm talking about those in this country who don't identify as an Aussie, Im not talking about people using a reference for cultural back ground who would say when asked about ethnicity say "im Greek Australian" and still hold to some "old homeland" values traditions.
I'm talking about people who support Greece/NZ/India over Australia in sports etc and who have a cultural disconnect from this country they live in and call home.
I know some new zealand Maoris who are 2nd generation born in aus, plan to live here there whole life and you ask them if they consider themselves Aussie and you will get met with "No" i am kiwi, follow all NZ teams and even tend to bad mouth Australia in general etc. Thats the type i am talking about.

Like when the socceroos played Greece years ago a full shop of people in melbourne decked out the shop in greece flags wore greece shirts to beat our national team and they all were born in Australia as they had interviews with them on sports news imo thats disgraceful.

If Australia played Greece in the final.. I'd support Australia..
