Fogarty tearing it up?
professional footballer in AFL system for a couple of years possessing all the physical attributes required to be a good forward - height/leap/run and kick - and lacking a bit between the ears.
I think you're right that it will be a surplus if we finish bottom and take Lukosius. However, I don't think that should stop us. A key factor in generating long term success is to bring in the talent when it's available in the draft. If we think of players more as commodities (which isn't romantic or nice but realistic in today's footy business), those surplus players become valuable to us in the future when wearing someone else's colours.
If we pick Lukosius and we squeeze out another highly rated forward because Lukosius is just that good, we can turn the unfortunate player into a needed one through trade or picks. Buy low, sell high is ideal, but however it works, we need those talented players who can't get a game on our list.
might come in useful for a 'show and tell' at med school, Dr PlowI almost spat out my oesophagus.

The grass is always greener on the other side Arr0w - you should know that by now.
Oh please. Why do you feel the need to talk down the young prospects we've got on the list just to support your point of view?
You're being way too harsh on Harry in particular, who has shown plenty already. He's a 20 year old 200cm key forward with less than 10 games under his belt, playing for the side with probably the worst F50 entries in the competition. His tackling and intent has been very impressive, and he has worked his way to plenty of contests up the ground. He needs to work on his contested marking, but that'll come with greater strength and more experience.
Kerr has looked good too over the past few weeks. Long way to go yet but the early signs are encouraging and he has improved with each game he has played.
Watched him a couple of weeks ago - liked what I saw - a lot.
whatever mate.I like him too, has what appeals, mongrel. But he is not tearing it up
has a touch of the Jack Darling about him.I like him too, has what appeals, mongrel. But he is not tearing it up
Have it on very good authority (retired CFC player) that when Harry came to the club he wasn’t backward in stating how quickly it was all going to happen for him and even told a player he’d be taking his position pretty quickly.
Fair to say that he’s changed his attitude a bit since the reality was different to the dream, but I think he’s now showing a bit of what concentration and work ethic can do, as well as pulling your head in and doing your bit for the team. I believe he can be a very important established player for us.
Just get the best talent through the door at this stage, no matter what position they play

You can tell Harry has a bit of confidence and even arrogance about him.
I don't mind it...its a good trait for a key forward to have...we don't want a schache type.
As long as its not entitlement and thinks he doesn't have to work hard.
He's shown some aggression and mongrel too which is good.

Possibly to keep his head in the gameYeah, from the outside here looking in, Bolts is making Harry earn it a bit more than some others. I trust there are certain reasons he is doing that.

Classy response. Like.Fair call, reading that back it sounds stupid and doesn't really reflect what i think.
trust us to take the wrong plowman...Must say, I do prefer my oesophagus remaining internal...
Fogarty is okay. Plays tough (on the edge), nice kick, not very athletic. He's Plowman on anger pills.
