Women's Footy AFLW Bulldogs - 2022 Round 1 vs Demons

I think the club will hang on to the Marquee players. Norf are looking for a quick fix but have no idea of the competition, and judging by the reaction of other clubs, are not going to have any friendly trades in the future.

Besides, copying the Bulldogs as usual, Werribee, VFL, AFLW, a little slow aren’t they.

Which of our remaining ALL AUSTRALIANS from last year will assume the marquee spots ?
Hannah Scott, Ellie Blackburn or Brooke Lochland ?

Interesting that we are happy to back what we have despite losing some handy players to other teams.

There are still 8 spots left, might get a few in the free agency period (today/tomorrow) and the remaining will be drafted later this year.

It's so confusing, having a free agency period given every player is on a one-year contract seems odd. Will be interesting to see though, probably need to add one or two mature type players but I definitely think we still have a great group and we should be thereabouts again this year.

Four players have not been contracted for the 2019 season, including inaugural AFLW season players Laura Bailey and Kim Ebb, and 2018 recruits Jess Anderson and Rachel Ashley.

The Bulldogs head into the 2018 AFLW draft with picks 10, 23, 26, 34, 45 and 56 in the National Draft, which is likely to be held in October this year.

Sorry to hear about the girls that missed out. Hopefully they get picked up by one of the other Vic clubs.

Hopefully our women buck the downward sprial trend all of our teams have got into.

Hows our VFLW team going? Most results I see seem to be losses. The VFL website for both mens and womens is the biggest piece of crap, can't find a ladder anywhere.

So what happens next year when more teams join, do we go through this pillage of our list again? The system is a farce and it's going to turn me off the game....seriously.
Only if players want to leave
No agreement to spread the talent out
Honestly our while core wants to stick together
