Where is the talk about the next Betts Greene Bruest Rioli Cameron etc .
Imo these types together with quality midfielders are of far far greater importance to our side than any tall forward elsewhere .

2MP sees himself as a forward, not a ruckman. He is a very reluctant ruckman. Accepts it is part of a role he has to play but wants to play predominately forward. He won't move to be another team's first ruck.

One of new additions to the leadership group LachPlow hasn't really coped with the extra responsibility and his footy has suffered as a result. The talent is there but needs to get his head right.

From what I’ve watched from McKay can certainly agree! He doesn’t work hard enough on the field, Kerr has been all over the ground the last couple of games and I think that’s a big thing to drum into McKay especially if he wants to be a Josh Kennedy type!

It's sad state of affairs where Bolton laments ASOS being injured and missing his leadership qualities when he's like managed 7 games in 18 months, 60 over an injury riddled career. What did we expect when he was recruited?

Apparently ASOS reinjured his Achilles in the VFL.. looks like his career may be done and dusted

Exactly! And why add a player to the leadership group with this injury record in the first place? The most important place to lead is on the ground. Same goes for Murphy.

I see a systemic problem with their leadership selection process. I mean WTF were they thinking with Armfield when they knew he was not in their best 22.

I seriously hope while publicly pumping up their leadership Bolts is privately resolving to make sweeping changes.

I know this is a rumour thread but Andy McKay was just on SEN and was pressed as to why Harry wasn't in the team, and after initially deflecting the question he stated it was workrate.

So what.........at least it is something to talk about and too many people on here want everything served up on a precise plate!!! It reeks of blame, because too many are pissed off with how the team is going and need to let it out somehow!!! Most rumours turn out to be just that, but why shoot someone down for just commenting, as we all want to just hear something positive for a change because it looks like being a very long dour season for all of us.

I think it comes down to this...

People are okay with rumours if they turn incorrect, if the person is genuinely just passing on something they heard.

But when someone is just making shit up for their own entertainment and to elicit a reaction... that's when we don't cop it.

Probably had fingers crossed he would stay fit and play like he did against Buddy ...every week for a couple of years
