It's was the use of an aboriginal artifact as a talking stick, which belonged to the tribe of one of the players.
Did it not occur to anyone organising the camp that that might be a bad idea? Use a normal stick FFS.

To be fair ...
... 99.999% of the population would have NFI what is and isn’t culturally sensitive to the particular tribe that the player was from.
Besides, we’d need to know more details to understand what went on.
Eg: Was it just a random branch from a particular species of tree, and it turns out that had (by coincidence) context to the culture of the indigenous player?
Or was it a specific artefact, and in which case how was it acquired? Was it something that is easily acquired in a tourist shop (eg: didgeridoo / boomerang / clapsticks)? And if it was acquired so freely and easily then it’s not so unreasonable to assume that its use would not be culturally insensitive. And even if it was, wouldn’t it simply become a learning opportunity for the people involved?
Chunky09 , guessing thats the number of aliases youve had?Apparently the crows are still waiting for the tigers to move first and refuse to get out of their power ranger stance.
Some say, josh Jenkins has been seen since but it’s debatable whether that sighting is credible.

So with Hampton retiring immediately does that mean the lawsuits are just around the corner?
His selection in that Richmond game despite now admitting he had vertigo reeks of 'play me or I spill'.
That makes zero sense. He says he's lost the desire to train, play and prepare at the highest level, so why would he have demanded selection?
Oh my god. The answer was sitting right in front of me the whole time... The camp made us.Why would he have played at all?
That was s**t. Shithouse, that is.Apparently the crows are still waiting for the tigers to move first and refuse to get out of their power ranger stance.

Nobody knows. Best guess is his continual struggles with injury where he played 12 games in 3 years played on his mind more than anything else. Just never had the continuity to showcase his talent.Did this camp really **** Hampton up? Rumor seems to be he is really struggling with what happened.
He has had on odd career for an AFL footballer. An underage sekection he arrived to us in 2011 without the usual AFPLA protections regarding workloads. He was in the first lot when Rooty Hill RSL was our training facility.Nobody knows.
