Another reason alcohol should be banned at games.
What? Because of a few antisocial idiots who can't handle alcohol?

Alcohol fueled violence at games is happening all too much. It's a family game that should be enjoyed by all. I am sure the responsible drinkers can go without for a couple of hours for the sake of preventing injuries to innocent people caught in the cross fire etc.
Just picturing at the end of the brawl whilst body's lay on the ground a stray Port beinie being chucked in the middle by Elspeff as she runs off behind the bushesChannel 7 to pan to a random PAFC beanie at the conclusion of the story tonight.
SICKENING footage of a 45 second brawl involving more than 10 people has emerged of a “disgusting” moment following Geelong’s thrilling win over Melbourne on Saturday night.
The incident unfolded just seconds after the Cats sealed a memorable victory when Zach Tuohy booted a goal after the siren to hand Geelong a scintillating two-point AFL comeback.
The footage shows Geelong and Melbourne supporters appearing to verbally attack each other before the confrontation turned violent.
A man in Geelong colours is seen stomping on a man already being held on the ground.
A Demons supporter also appeared to hit his head on the concrete after being thrown to ground by another man.

atm they are making it harder for the cows to get into the 8 …
If they had any common sense they would be barracking like crazy for Port to win this arvo. But their hatred will will win out.So given that theory then, they would want us to beat GWS today given they're half a game behind now.
"I felt like he ran towards Brayshaw, he flops around a bit, Danger, sometimes," Vince told AFL.com.au with a grin.
"It's in the rules, you're not allowed to do it, so the umpire called it.
"I felt he (Dangerfield) contributed to that free kick.
"I feel like the umpires look after the stars. The free was probably there because you're not allowed to infringe in the ruck.
"Whenever it's one of the stars they always look after them, I feel, that's my opinion."
Bernie Vince's take on the Dangerfield ruck free. You could see that he had no intention other than to run into someone, he could easily have taken one step to get around Brayshaw. The law should definitely be changed, it's an appalling look for the game.
Neymarwood and Neymarfield. At least Ablett doesn't rely on flopping and diving.I love Bernie Vince so much for actually calling this down the line. Dangerflog and Duckwood's onfield behaviour is at the level of soccer players and the league is doing nothing to stamp it out.
I'll love Bernie Vince even more if he kicks the winning goal next week!!!!I love Bernie Vince so much for actually calling this down the line. Dangerflog and Duckwood's onfield behaviour is at the level of soccer players and the league is doing nothing to stamp it out.
Pubs are designated for drinking where fights usually happen in the wee hours where security and police can most times handle the situation and the responsible drinkers like those on this board are more likely to avoid the situation. Footy has many thousands of people with their kids who are exposed to this and lots of people get involved. Fists flying everywhere people panicking trying to get out of the way and getting hit. Kids witnessing violence they shouldn't. It's just my opinion and know one has to agree with me. I have witnessed it and nearly been innocently drawn in by being stuck in a congested crowd where i couldn't easily get out the way.Ban alcohol at pubs too to avoid a fight breaking out?

At the risk of saying "when I was a lad" players who performed like this in the 70s and 80s SANFL often weren't all that popular with their teammates.Ablett played much of his early career at a Bomber-led Geelong that didn't stand for this kind of nonsense, then was at Gold Coast when this acting culture really started to thrive in Geelong. It has to be at least partially due to Chris Scott.
I wouldn't expect otherwise. If they had any common sense they would be barracking like crazy for Port to win this arvo. But their hatred will will win out.
So you hug them and then punch them?I'm more likely to hug someone then throw a punch after a few beers
Brazil did that. It has just punished those who drink responsibly.Another reason alcohol should be banned at games.
* referencing Geelong/DeesWhat a last quarter! Game of the year*
Better than the last Showdown?
Add last week's North v Sydney into the discussion. All 3 won by a goal that changed the lead. I can't split them because all 3 have different talking points.Yeah i reckon. Last quarter of the Showdown was a stalemate until the last 3 minutes. This was more intense the whole quarter
What the f*** is this..
