Lee Spurr has announced his retirement.

Thank You for your commitment to the club and in particular, being a leader to the young guys coming through the past four years.

You were a tough, no frills, hard at it defender that always put his body on the line and was the ultimate team man; the Ross Lyon soldier.

All the best for yourself and your family in the future.

he was huge in our GF year and our years when we were competitive. Sad to see him go - not sure what happened to his knee but when you draft a mature ager i guess they are always on a shorter timer than others.

Congrats on all you've achieved in your career Lee, best of luck in the future.

Now go & make some babies!
He's made 2 (actually 1 and 7/8th's - number 2 is due next week)

Loved the way this fella played his footy.
A players player.
Shed more Claret than any I can think of.

I imagine he'd have a bit to offer around the place in some capacity.
Now go & make some babies!
Wife is currently pregnant??
Daughter Isla suggests a bit of Scots heritage mibbe?

Good Bloke too.
Never king hit a kid.

Played some ripper games for us and formed a key cog of a formidable defensive unit - Macca - Johnson - Spurr - Ibbo

A very successful mature age selection. Stoked we got him, he should be proud of his career. Wish him the very best!

Earned his spot in the team pretty quickly and was pretty good down back for a few years. Thanks Spurry!!!!

Well played Lee

I really do think they should have Played him forward at least a few times .

Dunno who the supporter is but the banner's groovy.
