Clearly it’s cohesion, coaching and game plan. How can we set up 2 v 7 from the centre and still win the clearance, run the footy and blindly kick inside 50 to Adelaide players. Shouldn’t we let them win it then run and carry off half back. Our game plan is trash. No one knows what it is and when we try something the players on the ground don’t use the spares the way they should be used. You’d think we’d have 1-2 runners off the back of the square to handball recieve so we should tap defensively and move the ball via kick mark but NO we rush and just pump it. Curnow did this about 6 times. I think next year we set up one way and stay that way all year. No exceptions. We also need to start raging the other teams best weapons. We’ve done it before but last night we thought we could go head to Head and back our skills through the middle. This happened 3 times this year and we were left wanting: Fremantle, Melbourne and now Adelaide. If that’s the game we want to play we need to do it all year (Brisbane did) and now they can match it offensively with opposition teams. We can’t. Because we pick and choose which way we will play every week. I’m sick of it. sort it out Bolton or you’re gone.

Whoever they get just needs to be a genuine lockdown KPD with strength and most importantly closing speed. If that's Collins then yes please.

Shandog you know these statistics can be misleading as its most likely a case of too much being left to too few .
Certainly agree with your thoughts in general but imo was exemplified by a lack of run and effort by some .
You simply dont lose that embarrassingly by giving it your best shot .
Sorry to say it but the white flag was raised by too many the effort of the group as a whole wasnt there .

I know there offensive skills are A1 but to have 3 KD that can do both is the way forward.
Matching them per opposition structures is the key to all 3 having these roles.

I think Weiters is more valuable in becoming a Rance type rather than Astbury. Plowman has the benefit that he can also play on smaller forwards so I do see a role for him going forward.

How bad is Sam Rowe. Doesn’t matter who plays on him, they end up looking like Wayne Carey. The bloke can’t defend unless the ball is on his head. is slower than a wet week and is the worse ball in hand player in the comp. we don’t get better until we get rid of players like him. Play Jones at fb and have weiters and Marchy doing their thing around him.

Him and Matt wright should be the first to goal. Goal hungry selfish germ. Week after week we see a teams half backs murder us while he is in no mans land. Doesn’t cut it. His stats look ok as he is a junk time specialist. Never stands up when the game is there to be grabbed.

Has been the case for years. Tries his heart out. But costs a minimum of two to three goals a game with his disposal

Hmmm...

It's a bit disingenuous, really, and it's hard to criticise well in two words, nor does it look like much more than the discontented publishings of an ex employee. It isn't very classy, and it isn't edifying to anyone involved.

As for the criticism of Bolts based on last night's performance, it's reactionary at the very least to state that solely because Carlton kicked 1 goal 5 in a half the team or the coach should go, and it isn't based on very much reasoning as it is emotion, so yes, I'd say he's wrong.
