Gee, I was expecting a nice leap and mark when someone mentioned it earlier. I didn't expect him to be taking a mark full stretch on top of a 7 man pack. That's awesome.

An interesting thing is that Jones played in the Peel ressies. What is going on there?
Good question, especially when they got absolutely thrashed 114 - 30. Only 4 goals for the game. Hit outs fairly even but I would have though Jones in the best 44 for the club.

Feel for Danyle as he was the only Peel player in the top 11 rated on dream team points for the game.

How did Nyhuis go? Apparently he was dropped so that he could play for Peel to qualify for finals
Don't know how Nyhuis went, hope he gets a contract and elevated after his third year on Rookie list. I think he took one for the club accepting three weeks for that tackle without argument, and he's a better player than many getting a game in the firsts.

That game elevated East Perth into finals and Peel 7th. Worst percentage (80.2) out of all teams except East Freo.

Drove down to take a look
Same as last week midfield got completely smashed
Absolutely no connection between mids backs and mids forwards
When then the ball did make it forward there was no pressure to lock it in
Some of peels turnovers given how badly they were dominated were hall of fame stuff
The delivery into the forward 50 was a bad as you could possibly imagine and in HD glaring contrast to how east Perth moved the ball

Peel are just a reflection on Freo, no coincidence that when Peel had our mature agers available we are winning GF's.
Now without them both clubs look totally lost moving the ball forward, turnovers, no forward pressure.
Some of this can be attributed to injury? But you have to question if both clubs can develop youth, have the game plan, assistants to fast track boys to men.
So many injured also suggests something isn"t right considering what WC kids are doing availability.
Nads not getting a single AFL game is terrible.

Peel vs East Perth always give us a little taste of how the WC and Freo game-plans fare against each other, and we usually get thumped
