Clarkson may well prefer Carltons list after this trade/draft period than what he may have at his disposal going forward, but it's not always about lists alone.
Rioli is gone. Roughead may be gone also.
Burgoyne is 36 and McEvoy, Smith, Frawley, Birchall, Puopolo and Stratton will be 30+ at the start of the next season.
