Karl Amon has requested a trade to a Victorian club for personal reasons. What's he worth?

AFL article says he may leave for opportunities, although he and one other are in line to replace Polec on the wing. Seems to be injury prone though.

Can't find a direct source for the "Victorian club" and "personal reasons" part, although there is some mention on social media of a channel 9 news report apparently saying something about him wanting to be closer to his family.

He's 23 and he's contracted until the end of 2019.

Swap for similar player just outside a 22 ie Jayden hunt from melb

Or 2019 3rd or 4th rounder.
No way Melbourne would do that. Hunt has had a very interrupted season. Including the pre season where I believe he had some issues. Won’t be surprised if he’s back in best 22 next year.

I’d be possibly interested in Amon for a late pick.

Has absolutely zero value.

Would be traded for a pick neither us or the club he nominates would have used.

What attributes does he have? It’s clear Melbourne needs a winger and if SOS is on the move that need becomes even more pronounced

Fairly quick extremely outside with a long kick that looks great but prone to miskicking as anyone. Gets out into space very easily as a linkman.

Looked very promising at one stage getting better every year but then went nowhere.

Under average winger with average speed, decent kick, couldn't win a contested ball with a small kid, can't really play any other position and even though he's still young he doesn't look like improving much at all.

The best you can hope to get out of him is if he plays the occasional game as a depth player. Demons are better off putting games into Billy Stretch or putting Jayden Hunt there. As for Carlton they couldn't get any worse so he could be an option just for a year. Overall I'd rather have Billy Hartung instead of him.
