Reminds me of a dude called Sam draper. He is one of those players in 5 years time that people will be likening their up and coming ruck men too

Someone said he’s like Max Gawn, maybe? I’m thinking more like Sauce Jacobs.

That's the one that comes to mind for me too, especially how he uses his big frame to shield the opposing ruckman from being able to get to the ball.

One thing definitely to his advantage is his width through the shoulders. He's a massive unit, not just tall. When he is fully grown into his frame, he'll be almost impossible to push off the line of the ball for stoppages.

Wow, what a game tho, in the shittest conditions imaginable for a big fella, he played a brilliant ruck’s game. His craft was excellent tapping the ball to adv & reading of ball flight top notch too.

Commanding performance & bodes well for next year to support belcho.

Would have no problem Sam coming in for a game or two next year. His upward trajectory has been brilliant. The thing holding him in the best stead is his competitiveness.

Of course I did, that wasn't meant to disparage TBC in the slightest. I don't see why they couldn't both be played on occasion; not all the time of course, but I don't see why it would need to be ruled out completely.

This guy's first 2 years of VFL has been as good as any rucks I've seen, except maybe Brodie Grundy. He's already established connections with players like Mynott, Mutch and Clarke.
