Genuinely interested to see how the club Rated Gus' year now.

I'd be shocked if he beats out Gawn and Oliver but he was bloody consistent back half. Jetta the only other who I reckon was consistent all year. Maybe Salem?

Hogans first half of the year was good, 2nd half average. Harmes the opposite.

Melkshams first 6 games were average

ANB still a Smokey for mine for playing his role consistently.

I’ve moved Melksham up a couple of spots from where I thought he should go, purely on the basis of his being asked to go to the Brownlow. Or maybe that was more so Goody has someone to chat to.

Do you know how our voting works? How many votes are given each game?

Fwiw my tip is
1.Gawn
2. Oliver
3. Melksham
4. Brayshaw
5. Jetta

40 per game TK. Panel consists of four members of the match committee giving each player a ranking out of ten after each game. So players can receive a maximum of 40 votes for a game.

* no. No idea how stuff like that works. We need to ask some weirdo that somehow manages to know this kind of thing.

TheCount ???

Ah. You know these kind of things. Excellent.

Cheers campaigner.
Reckon that lends itself to the more consistent types over the inconsistent.
So Hogan beats ANB easily in a 3-2-1 system where as ANB having played a role probably gets him on the 40 vote system.

Best and Fairest is tonight. The club will be live streaming again on the MFC website

Trying to chase up Casey's results, but they won't get back to me. All i know is Pedersen came 3rd

And before the event here are my tips

Geez that seems like a lot of arbitrary effort for an award. Do they use the data for anything else?

Probably an illegal, in-house betting scam.

I’m going tonight. If anyone looks drunk and gossipy I’ll see what I can find out about Hogan (might not be successful, they’re usually too clued up to leak even while pissed - in a manner of speaking)

Try to do the thing where you pretend like you already know, so find someone shitfaced and give them the 'can't believe Hoges has decided to take that contract, id never go to freo'

Not a bad idea. That could even work - just act like I have the info already

I’d like Hogan to win some sort of an award so he can give an official goodbye (If he wants to). Deserves the chance to say goodbye to the club and supporters
You're jumping the gun a teeny bit here. He hasn't requested a trade yet.

He has though, this has been happening for a while.
Even if he has, and we still don't know because surely the club would have pounced on the story by now, he wouldn't announce it at the B&F. The club would want to mediate the PR around him going, because it'd easily be the biggest story out of Melbourne since circa 2013.
