You should immediately associate the use of the term "destination club" with someone who is completely devoid of all football knowledge and scroll onwards.

3 & 4 just make you look plain old stupid from a football observers point of view. Unless you have watched enough North games and concluded that they have some similarities with Hawthorn (which they dont), then its just a poor attempt at trolling.

Question for North supporters on here:

Do you reckon it's just a happy coincidence that the final few contracts (Thompson, Wright, etc.) were signed yesterday?

The timing just seems too close to the "leaked" news on Gaff - which still has a mix of confirmations and denials.

- Don't insult posters, don't insult teams.

This isn’t Bay 13 or your team’s own board. Opposition posters can comment on your players, but just because they don’t share the same high view of them as you doesn’t mean you can abuse them. By all means defend your team and attempt to persuade them otherwise, but don’t attack the poster, their club or representatives of the club, e.g. using Bay 13 nicknames like Norf, Carltank, Bears, Essendrugs, plastics, Tuggers, etc, or posts that boil down to "haha your team's crap".

Much of the discussion here is great and fair play but can we ALL try to keep it civil and cut the unnecessary sledging?
It gets hella tiring having to scroll through the crap to find decent discussion.

When Richmond were shit, we used to say the same thing about beating Hawthorn...."we beat the Premiership side".

Let me be clear how a few of us at West Coast would respond now - no need for predictions.
- Probably not worth paying the premium you are reported to have offered but you have to pay someone and not many others want to go to North. Come 2021, the salary for him will look reasonable. All of your points could of been related to West Coast and Collingwood in pre-season. Some poeple had WC in the bottom 4 ffs.


If you make the 8, it will only be making up the numbers.....a bullshit line considering the last 3 premiership sides have been West Coast, Richmond and the Bulldogs. Statistically 3 of the weaker premiership sides based on H&A performance of the last 25 years.

All of which no body rated at the end of the previous season.


You'd think some people would of come to terms with this, the AFL landscape has changed, there certainly isn't any Brisbane, Geelong or Hawthorn super team about. Get yourself into the finals and hit fire for a few weeks, anything is a possibility.

Long shots? Maybe, but interesting that WC have won the most games over the past 4 seasons and were right up there on games won over 2015-17.

Looks like even most WC fans overlooked that fixing our glaring midfield problem (anyone remember cringing as oppo mids ran it out with priddis/mitchell chasing) was the key.

In retrospect, Mitchell drafting as a player was diabolical.

I feel sorry for all players in this regard.

The AFL community and clubs treat leaving players like lepers, and in alot of cases prevent them from attending the B&F.

I mean WTF is that all about? Are they going to give ideas to the remaining players? Do clubs think it is a contagion that will infect the remaining players?

He is contracted until the end of October. If he comes to North, fantastic. If he stays at WCE, well done to you guys.

Either way, he will make his decision public when he is good and ready.

Meaning that the past 225 pages of absolute shite has been a pointless waste of time.

Why would that be?

If we miss, then we miss. It will allow us to look elsewhere.

I would rather back in my club to do the right thing than what Sydney have done. Go after the biggest names in the game in Franklin and Tippett, and still come up short.

We have already had a pretty good trade period in Polec and Hall, and the period has not even started yet.

But hey, keep flogging that stereotype if it fills your boots.
