Last spot on the bench up for grabs, out problem last year was to many slower inside mids with below average disposal as such i've left both Boak and Ebert out at this stage, id like to see maybe Mayes or Atley have a really big preseason and claim that spot.

A pacy, strong, elusive and skillful midfielder is a critical need. Love to get Rozee but we really need Rankine now.
Grab another taller midfielder Hatley/Collier-Dawkins.

I reckon it will take all of 3 games for us to realise we can’t play 2 rucks but we won’t make a change until 2 weeks too late.

I’ve started putting a 22 together and it’s looking tight. Whoever we’re drafting at pick 5 I’m playing R1 unless we draft tall, which I doubt we will. We didn’t sell the farm to play that kid at SANFL level.

If Hartlett is fit and with Burton in that makes it tough to fit Lienert and DBJ in unless we play DBJ forward again. We’ll be a tall team whenever Ryder is fit. Ebert and Rockliff might be fighting it out for a spot and atm there’s no spot for Bonner which is a problem because we’re already lacking in outside options. Injuries will make space but fully fit it’s a squeeze.

Was just about to type, game plan permitting.

My only concern is lack of pace around the Midfeild with Rockliff, SPP, Wines, Ebo and Boak.

Hopefully Atley can force his way in next year.

Same with Bonner, we can use his pace and powerful kicking on a wing.

Surely our game plan won’t be the same. It’s been heavily documented in the media as a fail and addressed by the coaches as a fail.

Add in new recruits of Lycett and Burton. Basically new recruits in Hartlett and Marshall. Fresh young talent at 5, 10 & 15. An extra year and preseason in our super young defence. There is a lot to still be excited about.
