New ruck rule changes will help Grundy, he loves to grab the ball out the ruck.

In theory it should help both Grundy and Cox but we'll need to wait and see how it's interpreted.

The big boy plays his 100th game on Saturday, has been a stud since we drafted him. Will be a deserving All Australian this year and most likely a best and fairest to go with it. Having an insane year averaging 20.5 Disposals, 74% efficiency, 37 Hitouts, 5.1 tackles and 5.1 clearences.

Interesting that winning a flag is so high in the decision making of such things.

Incidently, without Jolly for the season we do not win the 2010 premiership. He WAS the difference maker for our team.

Had their chance with pick 11 in the 2012 AFL national draft, took Troy Menzel instead, we all know how that is working out for them.

I’d expect 17 clubs to be after him in a big way. He’s by far the most dominant all round ruck and at his age it’s not even close and easily our most important cog.

I’d be doing everything in my power if I was at Collingwood to sign him up long term next year. Will be a lot of clubs with a lot of cash looking for a ruck around his free agency period.
