wonder if his dad left any hemlock lying around.....Socrates2 ... the sequels are not always as good.
Last thing GCS need at the moment is 2 outside players. They already have Martin, AhChee, Ainsworth and Lemmins. Need to star by getting 2 talls (Kings)and gun midfielders (Smith or Caldwell) to restart their rebuild.Surely 3 mates getting out of Adelaide at 18 and living on GC together would be a dream.. why would you ever go back? In fact, why would anyone who left Adelaide go back? I have only been there a few times and I dread the thought of it![]()
Regardless of that, I still think you're a high quality poster. Go blues!Again?

Mitch McGovern better perform and be worth it.
Would have loved to snag someone like McHenry around pick 30 but with no picks after 1, no chance.
I don't know about that but my view will be unpopular, which is that I just dont see it with him. Over rated to excess is my feeling. Not sure. Is it just me or does Rankine feel like he wouldn’t pass the ‘No Dickheads’ policy.

I notice the pre draft tension has you back on the ciggies man....Despite ranking players ahead of both, Rankine v Walsh is an interesting one, as they are polar opposites
Given a myriad of factors, but mainly consistency and what other players can benefit or be released, I would select Walsh
Especially when you turn up hours later after things have already moved on just to say move on.As opposed to moving on yourself? Asking someone to move on just invites another response.
Happy draft day to all.
Looking forward to tonight but even more so to tomorrow night.
Early picks are great, but for me often those picked later are more interesting.
Will be very interesting to see what happens.
I always love reading the reports on the late draft picks, blokes that go 75 are suddenly described as elite runners who can use both sides of the body with the perfect body shape for the modern game.
Just round one. So in essence top 20 picks is about all it will be tonight. The rest done Friday.I heard a rumour, is it only the top 20 picks tonight? Or the full draft ? Please answer
Which brings up another aspect. Out of all the likely lads, its a fair bet that Walsh is the best in the wet. Just has that kind of game and body.weather looking threatening outside which is a shit as I was consideringwalshing........washing the car today........

And it's quite often the case.
The difference between the top 30 and the bottom 20 is often more to do with consistency and output that it is skills and athleticism. The have draftable attributes, but not the runs on the board to show they can impact enough.
It really just emphasise how hard to predict the real outcomes it is. And the high levels of abilty that run right through each years draft. Pick 1 and pick 70 can be miles apart or not so far after all.And it's quite often the case.
