And end of next season won't mean much either. It will only matter if stocker is a bust. If he turns out to be a good player and is part of a premiership team then it's a great move. Come back in 10 yrs.

I think it is more reliant on where we finish. If Adelaide hand over pick 18 and we hand over pick 8, I still like our trade.
If we hand over pick 1 or 2 and only gain a pick 12 back, I like it less.

I don't disagree with that, but you and I both know, that next year there is no Lukosius, Rankine, Walsh, M King, in fact so far there might be 2-3 players next year that could make this year's top 15

Why are we focused on the pick swap? If Stocker plays, nabs a RS nomination etc does it effect the value of the pick swap?

It is about value, as LM stated above, if we finish 17th and the Crows finish top 3, it is a bad deal. If we have a slight rise and finish outside the bottom 5-6, then it is a great deal

Our list is virtually set. We have an extremely talented group that can now grow together and have competition. The standards have been set higher and with Russell they can start building now. We have an extremely talented group that are quality kids.

FWIW According to the points if we finish 14th even if the Crows win the flag we come out on top.

I suspect Ed will be pushed out of the midfield next year due to the quality and depth. Cuningham is the interesting one. I really like him on the half forward line. He can kick a goal and had some series speed. Charlie could be anything.

I really do think we've added a lot of quality kids over the past few years. I feel the real pressure now lies with the coaching and football department to get the best out of this list and see them climb the ladder. I'm bullish about 2019 and onwards.

No way, Ed is a machine. He's the best tagger we have and the best mature bodied player to help Crippa out.

Stocker only missed last years draft by just over three weeks so it's abit hard to be comparing him to next years crop. He will have close to 18months on half of them

In 2015 Harry made the draft by what a week and Weitering by about 5, Stocker would have close to two years on them.

This is our final draft year for the rebuild. We are done being shit. Accept this.

Next year and the years to follow, we will no doubt be looking to trade our first rounders for legit talent at a tilt for a flag.

We filled our list with talent...

2015, 2016, 2017 and now 2018.

From now on, we look to start trading our first rounders for established talent and fill in the gaps.

Everyone is stuck in 2018 whilst SOS and Co are ahead in 2020. I love it.

Get excited Baggers, we have some smart men at the helm that we haven't had for a very long long time.
