Agreed, but honestly, what more does it take for players to finally get it through their thick skulls re the dangers of allowing themselves to be filmed doing something very dodgy (or in the case of Jack Watts sending dodgy text messages).

They simply must always assume that any video or any text may at some point in time get out into the public domain and, therefore, they must act appropriately on that assumption.

Edit: and it’s not like they’re not repeatedly told this by their clubs. Even the kids in the Academy are repeatedly lectured about how they (and their families) are to behave on social media and when using electronic communications.

My thought was that if he was "off his face" he may not know that someone was filming. So, an AFL player needs to choose carefully who he mixes with when he makes himself vulnerable. Bad judgement on many counts for Shane.

Given that the reported effect of cocaine is a feeling of invincability maybe the lack of judgement is inherent in the taking of the wretched stuff.

Correct here about Northern Blues will play when fit and is in a development role . To play with a VFL club you must have a feeder club , so he put down Lara , but probably won't play for them.
