I thought that Vodafone TV and Foxtel Now box came with Chromecast (2nd Gen or 3rd Gen) built in rather than a Chromecast Ultra, and mostly 2nd Gen as the 3rd Gen was only released last month.Make sure you get one with an Ultra Chromecast for Kayo. Vodafone tv box or Foxtel Now box have this inbuilt.
ok. Well I still win I think, because Ill be giving up their full service. You're missing Foxtel still getting your money because they own this service.
App has had 3 minor updates in the past week so I can only imagine the service can only improve. Current version is 1.0.3
about 7 million premises?!?What % of people in Australia are actually in a position to get 4K streaming?
Sports package on Foxtel is $29 (on top of basic), if you get it and then cancel they offer a discount.
$25 seems very expensive unless you are a multi-sports nut.
I'm just footy and cricket, so it is way overpriced for me.
Looks like this is aimed at young-uns into AFL/NFL/NBA etc that cannot afford or do not want foxtel. It is a pretty big market and growing, so it might work.
No smart tv apps yet.Apologies if this has been mentioned, but is there scope for a Kayo smart TV application? Or does that already exist?
The old man has just got NBN and a smart telly so making plans for him to be able to stream the footy next season. Will either split Kayo with him or Foxtel go - preferable Kayo.
I'll suggest it... I know one of the dev teamThey should add a Sports Movies channel with sports films and documentaries.

do they have phone support?I was hoping I'd be able to stream on to my Chromecast now that the app was up and running but it's still not working.
Unfortunately it looks like I'll have to buy another Chromecast.
I can't understand why.
All good, I got onto them.do they have phone support?
All good, I got onto them.
Think it was mentioned a couple of times here that you need and ultra or Gen 3 Chromecast. I was hoping to get away with it.
It seems to stream the live channels but not the replays which is very strange. Looks like I'm up for a new Chromecast.
If you have a laptop just connect it to the TV
I signed up for the 2 week trial and it works great with my pc connected to the tv $25 for the basic package is really good value will rescribe when the footy season starts.
