I didn't spend long looking at it either, and my first impression (after the obvious skyscraper imagery) was that it was the middle finger. When I realised this wasn't quite right, I noticed it was actually shaped like a hand.

The Southern Perth region. It represents Perth south of the Swan River however if your team was planning to represent some of that area as well, we could compromise our boundaries.

El_Scorcho, do the Home and Away uniforms need to have the team name on the front (i.e NBA style - nickname on home, city away). Putting together my design and I want to make sure I'm not squeezing it in at the last minute and it looks terrible. Cheers

Nope! Just the number is required. Design is totally up to you as long as it fits in with the guidelines in the OP. I have mine in NBA style but it's not necessary if you want to do something different.

El_Scorcho, I know you've stipulated that the manufacturer logo and ABA logo should sit on each shoulder but I was wondering if I could place the manufacturer's logo on the back above the name? I'd like to have my front number small and on the shoulder, like caloschwaby mentioned in an earlier post.

I'm really liking this idea, the cyan is a perfect fit for a weather based mascot, associating it with synoptic charts/weather radars.
