Laycock ended up turning in to a very good state league ruck/forward; so much so that he was nearly re-drafted.

Just beacause he was a cult figure,doesn't mean he was any good! I put him on a simular level to Zane Cordy. Castagna not a great shot for goal but is a valued premiership player with elite agility.

Think he is sitting on 31 games, and hopefully he never gets to 50 so this may be premature... but how James Parsons gets a game has me baffled. He's a small forward who doesn't get the ball (let alone kick goals) and doesn't tackle, isn't fast so there's not even any 'perceived pressure'.

What club in their right mind would basically trade Ryan Burton for Chad Wingard? Clarko's plan seems to be to give away draft picks for ageing players.I can't see Hawthorn finishing in the 8 and I think old Roughy might retire mid season next year.

Shaun Hampson - so much potential, athleticism and size. Just never put it together. Promised and teased more than a burlesque show.

Managed to rip off Richmond (aka our trade bunnies) though, so it worked out ok in the end.

Hampson has more than just an average footy career under his belt as you should be well aware and quite frankly don't think he cares. He wins a brownlow for his off field work.
