I think you were both given the 18 badge initially however there seems to be an issue with badges being displayed on users profiles if they have more than 5.

So you likely still have it but it just can't be seen currently.

You can change it yourself pretty easy.
Click on your profile then select medals.
Go down the bottom of your list of medals then click sort and you can pick which 5 medals are displayed.
