top 14
: Rowell, Anderson, Kemp, Serong, Flanders, Green, Robertson, D.Stephens, Jackson, Ash, Henry, Young, Gould, McAsey

15-24: Rivers, C.Stephens, Pickett, Taheny, Sharp, Bianco, D.Williams, Worrell, Ruscoe, Schoenberg

25-37: Maginness, Bergman, Weightman, Perez, Day, Georgiades, Mahony, Rantall, B.Smith, Mead, Taylor, Comben, Shute

38+: O'Neill, Finlay, Hilder, De Koning, Pasini, Cahill, Garcia, Chirgwin, Dow, Byrnes

47+: Delahunty, Cumberland, Gore, Kelly, Park(SA), Magor, Partington, Clark, Bryan, Butler, Cassar, Jones, Mott, Sharman, Sturgess, Carafa, Davies, D'Intinosante, Mellis, Stapleton, Pretty, J.Jackson, Prior, Thorne

players who i would like to see get a chance late: Parks(Syd A), Burgoyne, Pepper, R.Baldi, F.Phillips, Kuipers, Connolly, J.Chalcraft, Hanrahan, Andrews, Philp, Honey, Ralphsmith, Dean, McCormack, Rossiter, Yorke, Jamieson, O'Connor, Arn Cox, Warner, K.Coleman, Jeka, Bennell

......................................................................................

group of 14: Rowell, Anderson, Kemp, Serong, Flanders, Green, Robertson, D.Stephens, Jackson, Ash, Henry, Young, Gould, McAsey

the next group are players that have been super impressive this year at some stage/last year and have had moments where they have fallen off a little, but they are supremely gifted players who imo are the best options outside the top 14

next group of 11: Rivers, C.Stephens, Pickett, Taheny, Sharp, Bianco, D.Williams, Worrell, Ruscoe, Schoenberg, Shute

the 3rd group are players that have had moments but are a little inconsistent, these players could be really good, but are riskier picks than the first 2 groups imo, as they are less likely to be stars at AFL level, but still have the potential to be really good players and are players i have liked for the majority of the season or games i have seen them in or have been injured and i liked them a lot last year.

group of 12: Maginness, Bergman, Weightman, Perez, Day, Georgiades, Mahony, Rantall, B.Smith, Mead, Taylor, Comben

others who could go in the first 2 rounds that i like a little less than the 3 groups i have listed are: O'Neill, Finlay, Hilder, De Koning, Pasini, Cahill, Garcia, Chirgwin, Dow, Byrnes

I’ve followed your rankings Davo and they’re well assessed. Given you have Mellis and Rossiter named, where do you see their strengths and do you like anyone else from Ranges given they had quite a few bottom agers running around in a disappointing year?

Hey Davo, are you going to go off early and be the first to call it a SUPER draft?;)

its not as strong as 2017 or 2018's group imo, so no, its not a bad draft though, i believe its the end of a good 3 year period of drafts, thats my read so far

Ben Hickleton is an interesting tall, need to see more of the games next season

Davo-27 what are your thoughts on Mitch O’Neill what is he good at and what does he need to work on

clean hands off the ground, gets a bit of it and tends to not waste it also good 2nd efforts, he has all the tools, just needs to work on his athletic side a bit, but most of the youngsters do, could have better endurance for resistance to injuries/defensive running is the main improvement he could have imo.

but plenty of good mids lack defensive running, but as a kid wanting to get drafted and highly that area is something to improve on.

obviously things can change, but what i saw of him at the Champs this year, i think he is in a good position.

this list atm is still a work in progress, i just put it out as a kindve guide to remind myself of who to look out for in 2019 season.

he is really good from the small sample i have seen, in some games it was Green shining in others it was O'Neill in the Allies games, these are early calls and im likely to change my mind as i see more vision, but i would say Green is a lock for top 10 and depending on how 2019 season goes, he has the talent to go high, maybe top 5? if he ticks all the boxes.

the 3 Oakleigh boys are nearly guaranteed to go top 5 which only leaves 2 spots open and theres a few that are vying for those 2 spots.

I'm going to throw a smokey in the mix. Kid from WA. Jack Allen. Came to the sport later but developing fast.
KPP 194cm/92kg. Last testing had a 94cm running vertical and did 21.4 Yo-Yo. Be interesting to watch next year.

L Rocci played state basketball is he a tall or midfielder as I’m sure he plays in The EDFL??? if it’s the same kid.
Loves the contested ball and loves contact and is a tackling machine.

Love this kid already Mitch Georgiadis (Subi)

Yep only seen him once in the flesh but looked very exciting for WA against SA. Has really pace and power a bit Danger ish. Great hands on the lead as well. Has very transferable assets on the very little I have seen.

With the added focus on running Dylan Stephens from SA is one I expect to shoot up the draft boards if he remains healthy this year. Ridiculously elite runner who may well break the 2k record this year. Wins it inside and outside and kicks goals. Could be very special in my humble opinion. Saw him kick 1.3 and have 16 possessions in a quarter in the U/18s preliminary final against South Adelaide last year. Was moved from the wing into the middle at half time and simply destroyed South, almost single-handedly bringing Norwood back from a 7 goal half time deficit to a 1 goal difference at the last change. Wasn't tackling chumps either as Tom Sparrow who went to Melbourne was in middle for South along with Sampson who I thought was a little unlucky not to get drafted last year. One to watch

Emerson Jeka and Mitch Georgiades are the main 2 KPF's that have stood out to me in this draft pool, Dylan Williams is an amazing 3rd tall/med forw that might transform into a medium sized KPF, but the 2 i want to focus on is Jeka and Georgiades, both have tall strong KPP type builds, Jeka is being compared to Wayne Carey in how he plays and i can see some similarities, the 1 thing holding him back at the moment is his number of goals, if he can kick more goals (2+ a game)and be dangerous forward in the air regularly, he could move into first round contention, the other is Georgiades, he has a big presence and impressed me at the Champs for W.A., i'd like to see more of him this year and see if he can also learn to dominate as is needed to take the next step to AFL footy, at this stage Jeka i think is a bit better and has more potential to make it at the level, but Georgiades could close the gap and go in front if he performs this season.

in general the KPP are a bit of a weakness this year, Jeka, Georgiades, Gould, Dean, Watts? (Hickleton is a darkhorse) and a couple of others are on the radar but it is a bit lite on quality talls atm.
