Sorry , I did mean there. Not Docklands, from what I know.
Fair call I enjoyed it , much better than ABC , or the other mob. Do like Bhogle though. The Indian they had on I thought was hard to understand , I thought I was calling offshore. Have always enjoyed Del Santo , but him and Edmund are terrible.I thought the coverage was really good. I personally was a bit all over the place trying to catch stints from all five broadcasters (2 TV, 3 radio) so never listened/watched for long periods, but I paid the most attention to SEN out of the radio stations.
Gerard is good as always, Huddo is a great caller and their analysts are interesting to listen to. It wasn't all-frills but it wasn't no-frills either – a happy medium. Not too much advertising... to me it sounded like one 15-30 sec ad at the end of an over in not-too-regular intervals, and then ads after wickets and in drinks breaks which is understandable and easily stomached. The live read ads were more common ("Stats thanks to blah blah", "the XYZ player of the day" etc.)
I hope regular talkback during lunch and tea takes off. Would be a great innovation. I think SEN is better than ABC already, whose only saving grace is the presence of Alison Mitchell and Harsha Bhogle (I didn't like Dizzy Gillespie, who always seems to laugh at very unfunny Jim Maxwell jokes). Macquarie is good but have ads in between overs more regularly.

So sick of all the cricket! Cricket, Cricket and more Cricket!
(I know, you guys like it *sigh*)
Footy in the winter, followed by 3 weeks of racing, followed by cricket in the summer and then back to footy. It’s nature’s way, MacMum.
Huddo’s been a revelation. I like his cricket call and he even makes basketball bearable
I think it's one of the few sports that translates really well to radio.Cricket on the radio is excrutiating, so painful.
Easily the best commentator in the country these days.Huddo’s been a revelation. I like his cricket call and he even makes basketball bearable
