Can’t say the same about a lot of other sides at the moment
Helps they have a world class batsman in Kane

And I have to say, Pakistan's selections were abysmal.

Why pick a kid who has only bowled three first class games in a deciding test match?

Bilal Asif is a bog average spinner who was made to look good by us.

Pakistan completely s**t the bed in every aspect here.

First away test series win against Pakistan since 1969, amazing achievement, up there with Sir Edmund Hillary climbing Mt Everest,

They're a side led by an inspirational leader in Kane Williamson.

Without him I think they'd struggle.

But if you played this NZ team against the current Aus team NZ would win.

New Zealand of 2014 to present - is this the best New Zealand side/era ever? If it isn't it must be damned close to being so.

Hard to beat the NZ side from the mid 80s where they won their first test series in Australia, albeit against a depleted side due to the South African rebel tour.

Obviously Hadlee played a big part in that as he was one of the best bowlers in the world back then but they also had a pretty good batting line up with Martin Crowe and one of NZ's only good opening partnerships with Wright and Edgar, Jeremy Coney was a great captain too and a handy all round cricketer.

With this current team, the only thing really holding them back from being the best NZ team is the weak opening partnership, the batting order is pretty good otherwise and they have a good bowling unit with the likes of Boult, Southee, Wagner and Sodhi/Patel/Somerville as spin options.
