Has he? Sounds like News Corp were trying their hardest to not pay him out. He took steps to make it happen.

England Academy 14 Australia Schoolboys 8

In rainy conditions at Leigh Sports Village, a well-deserved win for England, with a superb MotM performance from Wigan scrum-half Harry Smith, whose excellent kicking game had Australia on the back foot throughout. Aussies frankly pretty disappointing; looked much less organised than England, and dropped more ball.

Hope Smith gets a bit of game time in SL next season, he looks a real talent.

St George Illawarra's Jack De Belin has been charged with aggravated sexual assault

Why do the nrl have so many issues with guys hitting women or sexually assaulting them?

If you read the league forums they say it’s the same amount as afl except they don’t pay hush money

But every off season it feels like this happens in league

I don't think NRL players are any different to the rest of the world. Men have been arseholes to women for a long time especially when alcohol is involved.

I don't think the NRL can do anymore to educate these blokes about what's right and what's wrong in life. Christ, did they learn nothing from their parents and grand parents previously?

With that said though, we're also quick to find guilt until it's actually been proven and these blokes at least deserve the right of innocence until proven guilty of any charge.

England Academy completed a 2-0 series whitewash of Australia Schoolboys with an 18-6 win at Leeds last night, keeping the young Aussies scoreless in the second half for an excellent win, based on a dominant defensive display.

Flanagan de-registered by the NRL so Sharks need a new coach.

West’s CEO also de-registered for a separate issue

farah's supposed ambassadorial role after the retires

Yep Flanagan done for being in contact with the club and players during his 12 month ban as part of the supplement saga. Sharks fined $800,000 as well (the $400,000 that was suspended then and a further $400k now). They still have the findings of the salary cap investigation to come as well.

Tigers have their CEO deregistered, a $750,000 fine and the $639,000 arrangement with Farrah added in their 2019 Salary Cap.

Big blow for both clubs, very harsh on Wests Tigers but the Sharks knew the terms of Flanagan's ban, were reminded of it repeatedly and still decided to ignore it.
