With Boston unable to trade for Anthony Davis this year due to the Rose rule and LAL not wanting to get rid of all their young pieces and picks and Pelicans ideally not wanting to send Davis to another team in their conference. Why shouldn't the Raptors be active again as they were with Kawhi and go for it while their roster is of championship contention quality? Would these Raptors with Davis and Mirotic win the East and/or win the championship this year?
Pelicans get: Patrick Siakam, Serge Ibaka, Norman Powell and Raptors 2019, 2021 and 2023 first round picks unprotected
Raptors get: Anthony Davis and Nikola Mirotic
Who says no and why?
Two teams looking to move contracted players for uncontacted players would be ideal trade partners for Chicago with Jabari Parker's contract having a team option.
With LAC hoping to sign KD and Kawhi:
Scenario one:
LAC get: Jabari Parker and Justin Holiday
Bulls get: Danilo Gallinari, Jermone Robinson and Clippers 2020 second round pick
Who says no and why?
With NYK hoping to accumulate expiring deals, keep their 2019 first pick, keep their young core and get into free agency with the hope of signing Kyrie and Jimmy or attracting anyone who doesn't want to sign with LAC/LAL:
Scenario two:
NYK get: Jabari Parker, Robin Lopez and Cameron Payne
Bulls get: Tim Hardaway Jr, Courtney Lee, Lance Thomas and Knicks 2020 and 2022 first round picks unprotected
