Son missed the start of the season remember because he was playing in the Avoid Military Service Games.
Never have so many people ever flocked to some dodgy stream for Asian football with Japanese commentary than for those two weeks at the end lol

Arnold shouldn't be in contention.

Could throw a blanket over 4 or 5 right backs - Bissaka, Doherty, Arnold, Walker - consensus in here seems to be that there's no clear standout in that position. A case could be made for any of them, and being first choice right back in statistically one of the tightest defenses in Premier League history (conceding less than half as many goals as the next best defence in the league this season - as a defensive unit they've been miles ahead of everyone else) is as good an argument as any. Strongly considered Gomez for Laporte for the same reason.

Arnold is probably the least deserving player from our back 5. Gomez has been good but got injured and also Laporte and Rudiger are better than him.

Alisson, VVD and Robertson are the stars.

Arnold wouldn't make the top 10 RB in the league if you take out his goal scoring. He's been BOG average defending, he's the weak link in that backline by far.

On another note, please make sure you put Kane OBE in all your teams... Doctor Gero

Yeah I reckon a fit Clyne is better defensively than Arnold.

Put another way, if City hit 50 goals in half a season and the next best attack hits less than 25, you'd expect most/all of the attacking positions to be taken by City players.

Yes all please amend your teams for two reasons. Firstly the folly that he’s not in it, and secondly address him by his title :D

That’s not how it works lol

Was our player of the month for November. Been as good as any other right-back in the league.

Was poor defensively against Arsenal and everyone was bad against Red Star.
Then got an assist vs Fulham and scored a great free kick against Watford.
Didn't get picked to play vs PSG.

Bit of a mixed bag of a month.

Magma small sample size here since without Fernandinho is based off 2 games but this graphic was on OptusSport.

Would be interesting to see that extended over previous years.

Remember 13/14 and there was no chance we win the title without him.

Has Azpilicueta been good this season?
Yes and no, had some very good games like against City but has also had a few where he doesnt look suited to how Sarri wants to play.

Hes been good defensively but offers nothing offensively. Shouldnt be in the discussion imo.

This team looks like absolute sex!
GK: Luiz (Chelsea)
RB: Luiz (Chelsea)
CB: Luiz (Chelsea)

LB: Luiz (Chelsea)
RCM: Luiz (Chelsea)
CDM: Luiz (Chelsea)

I do it for you jod, because you'll need these things to laugh at when it all slips away.
I loved the bog average defensively line when he has been the main RB in the stingiest defence in the league. You're classic.

It might all slip away but im enjoying the ride so far and let's see what happens.

Everton traveling well. ;)

Just because you haven't conceded doesn't mean you can't be average defensively. I mean look at Burnley last year, they got by off of a ridiculous save % from Nick Pope.
