After Doc, Pickett and Gov going down its been a fairly soul crushing start to our 2019 campaign. So looking for a positive lift and prior to out fist training session of the new year tomorrow, what has been some stand outs from our training sessions of 2018?

When can I get a picture of Williamson on the training track?

McKay with some meat on his legs, Samo too ffs.

Dow with some more upper body mass, LOB too ffs.
The Carlton website has a photo of him in his boardies on holidays, looks incredible and his Mrs isn't half bad either

FWIW, I would have kept both Kerridge and Lamb for one more season.

Felt like they could be valuable contributors both on field and on the training track.

A few players ahead of Kerridge class wise, but I would have given Lamb another year, showed a bit as a small defender and can be used forward.

Either way, neither would be the difference in our rebuild

Latest article says 10:30am start?

Does anyone know if that's correct or not ?
I don't know the answer about this particular session, but the last one I went to started way before the advertised time. If you have the spare time, I'd err on the side of the earlier time. If nothing else you can look in the shop and have a coffee in the cafe. And post in here to warn everyone else not to turn up. :)

"CARLTON’S Mitch McGovern will be reintegrated into training over the opening weeks of 2019.

After sustaining a non-displaced fracture in his back, McGovern completed running and cross training sessions in the last fortnight.

With the Blues to return to pre-season training today, the new recruit will gradually make his way into training in the coming weeks."

"Will Setterfield will also reintegrate back into training over the month of January in preparation for his first season as a Blue."

"A return to footy-specific conditioning is also in the offing for Caleb Marchbank and Darcy Lang, as they return from back and foot injuries respectively. They will progress with their running and strength programs in the next few weeks."

Yeah I was surprised Lamb didn’t get another year after his work as a small defender, generally played well and his ball use was alright too coming out of the back half, probably his best patch of footy for us and then chop chop lamb chop.
