How about learning to debate rather than trying personal insults? Pretty easy to ask pointless questions when you have nothing to add

Bit of a pointless dig really. When has there ever been a world class Australian footballer?
Havent insulted you at all.
Care to answer the question?

Harry Kewell was world class in his early days at Leeds. Viduka had a couple of world class seasons.
Bosnich was World class for a couple seasons.
Zelic was well on his way.
Cahill was a world class international performer
' getting a feel for the individual' is being a dick because you don't like my opinion.
Answer to your question is no, Cahill Neill and Kewell developed in England
Bresciano and Grella left the VPL to develop in Italy
Aloisi in Belgium
Schwarzer in Germany and England etc
Some players like Viduka and Emerton left and played regularly but most didn't no
No it's not. Its confirming from what viewpoint you are coming from.
Have no issue with someone having an opinion.
Viduka was developed by Croatia using your terminology.
Ok so if it's always been this way why the outrage now?
We have more players in Europe than ever before.
Not as big a stars as Kewell or Viduka or Cahill but they arent going to be regular.
I'm sure the A-League will continue to grow and develop(as will the clubs in it) and we will be at the top of Asia again soon.
We were missing 6 stars from injury etc from our lineups at the cup this time.

Our definitions of world class are very different then. World class is for the absolutely elite talents who could start at just about any top team IMO.
I think Kewell maybe could have got there with better luck with injuries and I absolutely adored Viduka but there were plenty of elite forwards in his era who were better.
The others were nowhere near it.
Have read this twice now. Just out of appreciation for your continued misunderstanding of the word ‘develop’.Yes I'm saying players developed in the A-league aren't good enough to play regularly in top 5 leagues. They need further development
Completely disagree.I'm not really fussed on the terminology debate, just that we had players at a much higher level than we do now.
Completely disagree.
Could it and should it be better? 100%
But it is definitely better than the old days.

Nope.Worst national team in 30-40 years
Injuries killed this campaign. Nothing more.

Nope.

Eh?Which was better in the last 30 years
Eh?
I think you mean which one was worse.
You seem to forget we had a 6 players missing from the squad due to injury.
With full strength things would of been different.

Have a few terrible ones over the last decade and a bit.Yes I did.
Even full strength which is worse
Have a few terrible ones over the last decade and a bit.
Golden generation did great for the world cup but did **** all at the Asian Cup as well.

Wasnt that what we were doing? You just compare the golden generation with this team?
Oh dear
Wasnt that what we were doing?
I'm not saying this team is anywhere near their level I'm just pointing out the facts.
