Ingrid sees Toxic Masculinity everywhere.
Even the trees are out to get her.
I wish I had so little going on in my life where I would feel the need to share this on Twitter. What a dumb broad

Yes, yes of course it wasWhats her problem with that picture?
Im hoping it was just to trigger the right wing nuffies that seem to have converged on the tweet like flies to a s**t.
But that isn’t the message.Yeah me too. I grew up loving that ad, seemed very inspirational.
I think that is the problem with the new one. The overall message is good but it is not inspirational. It is condescending.
What the people trying to get this message across need to know is that the idea that men or masculinity has a widespread fundamental problem, or is toxic, is wrong.
But that isn’t the message.
Some of the behaviours that aren’t good for anyone are being called out. That’s all.
You should probably watch the ad before commenting. If you had watched it you would know that it's conflating normal male behaviour with 'toxic masculinity'.
And please explain why the **** should we trust and assign moral authority to a company that is trying to sell us stuff?
Clementine Ford has resigned/been sacked from Fairfax. Taking away the platform for her extremism can only benefit us all.
Pity about that. On a platform like Fairfax where they have editors and so forth to keep a lid on her, she's actually quite readable. I don't often agree with what she says, but she makes me think and see things from another perspective.
I'm not actually happy about the Ford sacking. There's an element of 'hoisted by her own petard' that amuses me but there's a sinister air of censorship about it.

Its not the pollen, its the seed pods its like fibreglass when they break up
I was always copping it in Melbourne and then when I went on holiday in Aix-en-Province they had the same trees and it was the right time ,horrible

So definitely the female part of the tree that is the problem not the male
Thanks for your heart felt concernSounds like a ghastly nightmare.
I hope you have fully recovered somewhat.
There's always hairdressing college.
Even with her winning personality, I doubt she'd survive past morning tea. She'd end up getting jazzed with scissors by her classmates.
That's the hoisted by her own petard I was talking about. Two wrongs don't make a right though. She seems to be incapable of expressing a strong opinion without descending into abuse. Then when people have said less offensive things about her she's gone to their employers to get them sacked.

a) from the pictures and clips I’ve seen, that doesn’t sound true. I may have to grit my teeth and watch the thing. You should probably watch the ad before commenting. If you had watched it you would know that it's conflating normal male behaviour with 'toxic masculinity'.
