But hey, $20K to test some pills will be the straw that breaks the camels back.:poo:
It's mainly because kids at music festivals are predominantly middle or upper class w***ers and I don't particularly care to pay to stop them from killing themselves. I'd legit rather pay to test ice for homeless people.

But seriously, if you can pay $200 for a music festival ticket, you can stump up another $20 for the pill testing as well.

So the life of a middle class person is worth less than the life of a homeless person. Hmm. Just remember that without the wealthy and middle class, you will have no-one paying the taxes to fund your welfare payments.

Great, introduce as much pill testing as you want! Just don't expect the Government to support, pay or be responsible for the inevitable failure of it.
The recent trial in canberra along with literally every other trial on the planet have all been considered successful, but of course you would know more than the Australian Medical Association.

You've proven your ignorance on this topical already, no more from you please.

The government who created the black market.
And you dare to act like everyone else is an idiot.

Wow. So you are claiming that making drugs illegal the government is responsible for overdoses, and that if they legitimised the sale of drugs which have been proven to have dangerous long term affects then they would be benevolent as long as the drugs were "pure".

Good luck with that one in court mr genius.

When a crackhead goes off his nut on " high grade pharmaceutical " meth, who gets the blame for that one?

Post your pay cheque and I'll post mine, let's count the zeros if you want to be a flog.

But yeah, if that's how you want to spin it I don't think your life is worth very much if you ask other people to pay for something that you can easily afford when you're the main beneficiary. * em.

Socialist.

I'm not putting a penny in for the likes of you. I already pay well more than my fair share of taxes. If the Labor Governments stop wasting it then I'd pay more but until that happens; NOPE.

I don't know where you're going with this.

The Government have trialed pill testing at festivals? Where? When?

Pill testing is neither conclusive or any type of safety measure and it will never be implemented by the Government..

Deal with it.

1. Yes
2. Groovin' The Moo festival, Canberra
3. In 2018.

You could not be more wrong, once again.

Deal with it.
Quote from the above article:

"ACT Health Minister Meegan Fitzharris said the success of the pill-testing trial had shown there was demand for the service at future events."

You are trolling yourself. Enough. You've already proven you have no idea what you are talking about and every post you add to the discussion makes you look even more dense.

Once all the old farts like you have buggered off pill testing will be introduced.

Deal with it.

It probably doesn't cost that much in relative terms..
Just needs a government policy to create a group, a hospital, a sentinel, a church group, a university/school conglomerate
and even a police without arms to walk through this one...on board with advice...

and we have to stop the ridiculous talking about financial incentives and who owes what and who can't pay this and those
middle class duck wits will pay if everything is cleaned up for them as well...more to come...

LOL $34k for the trial and you expect the government to provide this service to you brain-dead moron druggies at all festivals?
Typical of this generation, I'm not surprised.

Ain't gonna happen like I said.

Keep waiting, keep taking those pills...

I know, it's a bargain isn't it? Especially when you consider that sniffer dogs at 20 festivals a year cost around $720,000. And I'm sure pill testing will be even cheaper once it moves from trial stage, not to mention reducing the costs on our public health system.

Ain't gonna happen like I said.

Once again proving your ignorance.

And I don't take pills by the way.

Now stop talking to me.

Cops have knowingly had an innocent man in jail - Jason Roberts - for years.

What an absolute disgrace.

Time for the Victoria Police to the get the RUC treatment. Start again from the ground up on entirely different principles.

They have too much discretionary power and are out of control.

Yep, are riddled with systemic corruption - even the so-called Good Guys like Bezzina reveal themselves to be corrupt by omission if not commission.

Culturally they haven't moved on from their original purpose as enforcement arm of squattocracy and convict keeping.

Poor innocent little gangland thug, i shed a tear for him each night.

Out of interest, what sort of compensation would Roberts get if he was to be released?

He's been away for 20 years. Piggies that had him locked up knowing he was innocent should do double.

He'd be happy just to go home, but I understand there is a set rate of payments for false imprisonment somewhere to be found.

I believe it was something like 4 grand a day a couple of years back. Based on that it would be $25 million, but it's a pittance compared to the time lost. You'd need to scour the literature.

Roberts has done 20 years in prison for upholding his right to silence. He's actually a hero, because if the people don't fight to uphold their civil rights then we wouldn't have them at all.

VicPol have been jumping all over the scales of justice for as long as there has been a place called "Victoria".

INNOCENT is the correct word.

So by your logic, because some cops are corrupt, I should assume all are and not worry when they get executed in the street?

Not as much as he should. How do you get your youth back?

The people that think crims are getting out of this scott free, are more dangerous than the crims themselves, for if you believe due process is not a fundamental right, then you are no different to Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin or any other historical despot.

There are even deeper fundamental issues at play here.

Most people would not know that Victoria has no separation of powers element built in to it's constitution. This should be seen as an opportunity to correct this in order to shelter the judiciary from future political and bureaucratic interference.
