Rampaul was a pretty decent stock bowler, a bit more power to his bowling than Sammy & Bravo but more control than Roach at that stage.

To continue with the theme, can't believe how Adrian Barath just disappeared after that initial knock of accomplishment at the Gabba. Sure it wasn't the strongest Australian attack, but they had their tails up and it was looking like a West Indian capitulation. The momentum out of that held them in good stead for the strong draw at Adelaide and narrow loss in Perth in what turned out to be a tight series.

Hearing Michael Holding pronounce "Barath" (like "Ba-raat") was aural chocolate.

Kenny Benjamin- windies quick in the Ambrose/Walsh/bishop era. Pretty sure the was a Winston Benjamin too
Keith Arthurton

Rashid latif, made famous by being knocked over on the final ball of the day by Warnie after discussion with Healy

Simon cook, from memory took 5 wickets on debut, but got injured in his second test and disappeared from sight.

Luke pommesbach. Played T20 for Australia after happening to be at the ground when hodge hurt his back putting on his pants

Basit Ali was knocked over by Warne.

Latif’s claim to fame was being one of the chief whistle blowers on Salim Malik, and helping Asif Mujtaba to an improbable last ball tie against australia in Hobart.

Cook actually ended up as a council worker and got badly hurt when a steamroller somehow got him.

Kenny and Winston Benjamin were pretty good back up bowlers to Walsh, Ambrose, Bishop and Patterson. Kenny Benjamin was pretty smiley, but had a real nasty streak

Pomersbach had his meltdown, but then came back through Brisbane grde cricket and was a beast for the Heat there a couple of years. Such was his form it would not have been unreasonable to have seen him back in Aus colours again. Played some shield and the ODD series, but not sure where he is now.

I'm about a million spliffs between now and when I saw

There's about a million spliffs between now and when I saw Kenny Benjamin play but I remember him as very front on skiddy Marshall style of bowler. He was born to be a fast bowler too, his middle names were Charlie and Griffith.

100 per cent, very open chested, and had this strange disposition where he seemed to be perpetually smiling but equally seemed to get genuine joy out of frightening the s**t out of tailenders.

There’s a couple of interesting anecdotes on his wiki page actually. He coached at the school where English rugby star Will Greenwood attended, who was also a good cricketer. If there was any playing up, he’d come in to that batsman’s net and bowl at them like the wind. Michael Vaughan played at the same club as him as a teenager and said he was frightening to face (admittedly most 130km bowlers would seem like that to a younger guy)
