Great performance by the Blues, 7 goals to this stage is top class. GWS overrated and relying on too few, something the players who pull on the orange guernsey are all too familiar with.
Yep

The club culture is anyone who wears our colours has to run in defence though.

Yeah for all the justified smack spoken about the conferences, this result today and its nature sure does heat up the race on the B-side. Btw they should at least do something about those names ("A" and "B"), psychological dis/advantage!

Carlton get Geelong and Collingwood in their next two weeks, huuuge opportunity to go 3-2. Tayla oh Tayla, for the sake of you and your team I hope there's evidence of all-collarbone contact on Pepa Randall.

Is there no HTB in AFLW

2019 rule change from the AFL.

The 'hands in the back’ rule interpretation has been repealed so a player can now:

  • Place his hands on the back of his opponent to protect his position in a marking contest
  • PROVIDED he does not push his opponent in the back.
So with that change, plus the non-afl level umpires letting other things go (effective tackles, throws, ducking) it won't get paid much in the aflw.
