Had some free tickets so went to the game last night just to watch Fisher and The Gun.
Cripps will win the Brownlow this year, can do it all, FB, FF, CHF, Middle this guy is ELITE and is taller than Jack Riewoldt and probably better than him.
Fisher is going to be a great player for us, is quick, has tricks in stoppages, has the burst of speed, can see him playing on the wing and in the middle and even in the FP.

I watched the first match, honestly it was boring, but footy. I could have kept watch it, but I couldn’t handle the commentary yelling “game changer” every 20 seconds in the last 5 min, so I stopped & watched Keeping up Appearances
If they canned the supergoal, launch zone, game changer, flashing posts, bubbles blowing across the field, etc it actually wouldn’t be too bad a product, in terms of a lighthearted and bruise free exhibition match where you’ve got a selection of the best players in the comp.
I watched last night, and while all that naff stuff drove me crazy, it was kinda cool to see all the players together.
If they continue I hope they make it more like rugby 7s, not extra crazy rules but just a shorter, faster version of the game with less people on the field.
And piss off the rampage, fliers, etc. Maybe go something like SA, WA, Vic Metro, Vic Country (inc tas?), northern (nsw, qld, nt), and indigenous all stars.
Criticism of the comp aside, **** it was good to watch Cripps last night. Fish pretty hand too, but Cripps.... mother of god...

As worried as people were for Cripps playing in this Mickey Mouse tournament, his confidence in his own goal kicking ability looked to grow as the night went on. Could be a massive positive for his development.

Watched bits and pieces, the entertainment came from the players when they were naturally mucking around, the NBA style entrance and forced entertainment was cringe worthy.
Channel surfing, watched 3 different movies, cricket and X games. The talents we pick up as we mature,
Tex Walker as a commentator, wow wee golly gee, makes BT and Lingy sound like sound a class above Dennis Cometti, I hope he never retires.

Fisher extends the Silk Road with every step he takes. Great to watch him dicing it up last night. Some of his kicks to advantage were exceptional.
