Gooch has been consistently one of our best, so please leave her alone.I was going to step in and defend her, but then she just ran under the ball for no reason whatsoever allowing her opponent to run onto it. That piece of play was ******* atrocious, it looked like she'd given up.
This last quarter is season breaking stuff. A loss wouldn't be that bad, but a huge loss is a disaster. We need to smash the Bulldogs next week to make up for it.
You personally? Noice.
If that’s the case I would like to order a Chelsea Randall, a Sabrina Frederick-Traub and an Emma King for 2020.
I’ve no doubt she tries but she shouldn’t be in defence besides kicking the ball in after a behind she’s a liability, way to slow and I reckon five of Adelaide’s goals were through her mistakes or letting her apponent lead her to the ball.
The biggest handicap in the side is Gooch.
Playing only one undersized ruck finally caught up with us. Hit out and clearance numbers told the story. No supply for our forwards.
Hitouts 5-29
Clearances 9-28
Inside 50s 22-43

Can you get in the ear of the person who does?Yes me personally but I don't get to chose my clients
Last week Laurie basically just provided a contest in the ruck, and then was pretty much an extra midfielder at ground level. 16 possessions, 5 clearances and 4 votes in the coaches’ award. This week the rest of the midfield got smashed because she couldn’t go with the Adelaide ruck. But really it was our ‘star’ midfielders, as you say, of Donnellan, Hooker, and to a lesser degree Bowers who got completely towelled up. Missed Miller also.1/4 of the blame on the ruck. Heaps of teams concede the ruck and don’t get obliterated at ground level. The midfield wasn’t great. I actually thought they should of abandoned some of our midfielders and put Ebony Antonio and Gemma Houghton in their to give us some size. Erin Phillips could literally walk through Donnellan, Hooker and Bowers as she pleased.

And like I said before - Phillips is next level good. She’s like the female combo of Fyfe, Danger + Dusty with a bit of Pendles chucked in. She’s a freak. It’s no wonder anyone she plays on gets their backsides handed to them.
I agree - Houghton on her I think would have made things interesting. Or Cain. But I also find it odd that our three best mids all had such a shocking day at the same time. No one able to shark a tap, or read it off the hand at all.Did you want North to beat Melbourne for our finals chances?
I agree with you on Erin. But it didn’t seem we had plan 3/4/5. I would of thrown Gemma Houghton or Ebony Antonio as a tag. We looked dangerous whenever we got the ball forward. It’s just we couldn’t get it forward at all in the 2nd half.

Also - on a serious note, did she make a big deal about being a weags supporter, or play it close to her chest like most. I guess what I’m getting at - did you get the feeling Freo are just a stopover to the weags as her intended destination?

And I find that a very strange question re finals chances. I want whoever needs to beat whoever for our finals chances - whoever that might be... that would go without saying.
Bloody conferences...You’re right on the finals front. The only way we make finals now is to beat North at home in the final round, while also beating WB, Geelong the next 2 weeks. The latter game off a 6 day break. I don’t think 5-2 makes it to be honest.
Adelaide have North, Giants and Melbourne.
Giants pushed Brisbane... Melbourne maaaybe.
Oh well
Sure hope he knew thats where you were moving him to, considering he was from SA and plays in the SANFL!The quoters find the clients. I don't think we have an AFL relocation contract but we've moved Cox to Sydney. Pav to his new place and Jack Hannath back to Vic.
