Bring back Harf. He is a big loss. His work this morning,.....you could not tell that he is an ex afl player. Interviews all sorts of guests and is bloody good at it
Famous.
Tuned in for five minutes today, KB asked someone about their FAMOUS father.
The old dear must use the word as some sort of crutch.
Famous.
Why is a SAP person a potato over a F1 spud . Just take it all to Phillip Island.Had a moment of amusement in the 9-10am hour today. Whateley was in a commercial promoting the Grand Prix.
Well, well, well, how things have changed now he's on SEN?
Previously, you could set your calendar to when he and Jon Faine would complain about the GP in the 10-11 hour on Monday morning. They would never stop, and find all sorts of reasons to diminish the race. Look at it now?
IN the same hour Faine was trying to diminish the GP talking to some Save Albert Park potato over some deal F1 has reached with a betting agency.

You brought it up, here we go again local clubs driven out for a corporate event. No one cares about your opinion of the GP.
Btw, SAP potato and Jon Faine were on ABC, and this is the SEN thread. Go to the other thread if you want to talk about ABC radio.

It is not 1 week for sporting clubs one cricket club is off 2 weeks ago and won't get back at all , meaning no ever finals. Footy clubs have no w here to train and can lose up to 5 weeks of the season and then the ovals are brought back in piss poor condition. Its only one weekend, not the end of the world or the sporting clubs.
I'm not into motor sports at all, but it does highlight melbourne on the international stage, like the tennis etc.
If it went for 2 weeks for example that would be a different kettle of fish, but as it's only 4 days of the year, I say get over it people, seriously. It will be here and gone before you know it.
Excellent post.
He’s just another faker who fakes according to the pay cheque.
No point in having it in a random location in the suburbs. I'm guessing one of the main reasons it gets so much government support because it is able to showcase the citt beautifully. Many aerial shots are briadcast during the race showing the lake with the city not too far away in the distance. It is something that promotes Melbourne very well internationally, because of its proximity.I'm not against the GP , just where it is. Could have had a full time track built at say Laverton air base or have it at the Island.
At least now access to the park area isn’t as restricted as when the Grand Prix first arrived.
That's true , it got very nasty for awhile. The biggest problem was Ron Walker , thought it was his own park , absolute a-hole and remember he was involved with the casino. At least now access to the park area isn’t as restricted as when the Grand Prix first arrived.
Ah Bedford so is it about Ron Walker, or your political disposition or about the park itself? That's true , it got very nasty for awhile. The biggest problem was Ron Walker , thought it was his own park , absolute a-hole and remember he was involved with the casino.
No Spud is only a good thing.Great radio with Riewoldt this morning . Thank god we haven't had Spud on.
