Had to laugh at KB and the Doc tonight.

They can’t even keep up with what they are asking listeners to call up about. Then when someone calls up and makes a contribution, KB tells them it’s not what they are asking for and not relevant.

They should call it “Driving home with Dementia”. Might be a good community service for how to help you identify early onset dementia in your own loved ones in a situation you are not personally invested in - unless of course you are sucked into calling/texting in

Famous.

Tuned in for five minutes today, KB asked someone about their FAMOUS father.

The old dear must use the word as some sort of crutch.

Famous.

Had a moment of amusement in the 9-10am hour today. Whateley was in a commercial promoting the Grand Prix.

Well, well, well, how things have changed now he's on SEN?

Previously, you could set your calendar to when he and Jon Faine would complain about the GP in the 10-11 hour on Monday morning. They would never stop, and find all sorts of reasons to diminish the race. Look at it now?

IN the same hour Faine was trying to diminish the GP talking to some Save Albert Park potato over some deal F1 has reached with a betting agency.

I guess on the positive - it is betrer than another words many tend to use these days to subsitute for an F word that replaces and adjective.

I think he uses it as a bait trigger word. Reels them in every time and he knows it. I tuned out from it a long time ago

Why is a SAP person a potato over a F1 spud . Just take it all to Phillip Island.

Faine may have been referring to Bedford.

Its only one weekend, not the end of the world or the sporting clubs.

I'm not into motor sports at all, but it does highlight melbourne on the international stage, like the tennis etc.

If it went for 2 weeks for example that would be a different kettle of fish, but as it's only 4 days of the year, I say get over it people, seriously. It will be here and gone before you know it.

Excellent post.

He’s just another faker who fakes according to the pay cheque.

It is not 1 week for sporting clubs one cricket club is off 2 weeks ago and won't get back at all , meaning no ever finals. Footy clubs have no w here to train and can lose up to 5 weeks of the season and then the ovals are brought back in piss poor condition.
I'm not against the GP , just where it is. Could have had a full time track built at say Laverton air base or have it at the Island.

No point in having it in a random location in the suburbs. I'm guessing one of the main reasons it gets so much government support because it is able to showcase the citt beautifully. Many aerial shots are briadcast during the race showing the lake with the city not too far away in the distance. It is something that promotes Melbourne very well internationally, because of its proximity.

It isn't great for the locap sporting groups however.

At least now access to the park area isn’t as restricted as when the Grand Prix first arrived.

That's true , it got very nasty for awhile. The biggest problem was Ron Walker , thought it was his own park , absolute a-hole and remember he was involved with the casino.
Ah Bedford so is it about Ron Walker, or your political disposition or about the park itself?

Just wondering?
