Plus James Brayshaw commented last year (when they played us in the preseaso) that "everyone" would like to see Carlton back to their former greatness. Apparently.

James is a salesman. He never declines a "product" sell.

Sometimes the mentality around the daft is just strange. Rankine is easily the best player from last years draft. Walsh will be a really good player, but Rankine will be a generational type player. He has the attitude that makes him think he can be the best, also the work rate & skills that will make it happen.
He might just be seen as more of a flight risk. Despite their good history with SA boy’s the Gibbs debacle would be fresh in the Carlton list management teams mind.

They’d be pretty happy with Walsh. They might’ve even had him ranked highest. If they had Rankine ranked higher but didn’t take him because they were scared he’ll want to go over to SA one day, then that’s a bad move. Who knows though hey

Port won't miss Polec for too long.

Butters looked sensational as an all-round, quick skillful, young midfielder in his first hitout.

Win/Win.

Just a prediction, young Stephenson will play a lot more midfield/ CHF this year.

Was everyone else as surprised as I was when they took their masks off?

Homesick! BFNAAK!

Is good mates with Curtis Taylor.

Offer Port a 2nd round pick and bring him home.
