I didn’t think he lied.

I think he did the 100% correct PR thing and that was play a straight bat due to the nature of the injury. I still believe the initial testing was all positive and Robbo alluded to that today. He obviously still has to complete a few more specialist tests but I believe an issue would of been picked up by now.

I thought we were talking about paddy and Robbo. He also said they were waiting on the results but you say he had the results. Why let people suffer if it’s good news. Makes no sense.

Robbo has a thing implanted in his chest which would have told them what happened with his heart during the time he was feeling off.

Like the computer thing in the engine of modern cars which you can check later to see what was happening with the engine, an hour, a day, a week, or whenever ago, if it hadn't been running properly. It will tell you what had been going on.

If it showed any irregularity there would be a problem, but if it showed that there was no irregularity with his heart at that time he was feeling off, then it would be good news, and a very good sign that there's nothing to be particularly concerned about.

They would still need to do follow-up tests, just to be safe, but if the thing in his chest showed no irregularities, it would I imagine be an extremely good sign that it's all clear.

Not a guarantee by any means, but an extremely good sign.

Robbo’s problem is obvious and as you say easy to check. Paddy’s is completely different and they wouldn’t have all the information yesterday and most likely even later in the week. He also has to make decisions.

Perhaps neither are lying.

Perhaps stavro#4 has a contact who knows that everything has come up clear so far and has relayed that. Perhaps that person doesn't realise there's one or 2 more hoops to jump through before Robbo gets the all clear....

Then, perhaps Lethers also knows everything has come up clear but doesn't want to announce anything until all test results are finalised and a certain period of time has passed...

Maybe Lethers is just looking out for Robbo's mental welfare and trying to let the dust settle before addressing that he is done and never playing again...

Who knows? Maybe it's just not all black and white

Seems a fairly major detail to me and I’m sure robbos friends who may not have been able to speak to him. Same goes for paddy. I suppose I shouldn’t be worried after all it’s only a brain and heart. Their legs and arms are fine.

No worries. Good that they are both certain round one but to be honest I think we are a better side without paddy but that’s just me. Robbo is a huge plus and fantastic for both their health.
