Very interesting? I thought he was just an Academy prospect?
Depends a bit on the individual how much contact the academy kids have with the club. The best come to Honebush to train for a week. If their playing TAC cup that might be it.

Walker played NEAFL which meant he would have been training with Phil Davis. Not sure if all clubs do but our guys train together except for the captains runs.
So yeah very likely Davis, who would know him best.

Thx for the reply, appreciate it. Love how our club is so determined to remain competitive, confirmed by posts like yours, despite a dearth of early picks for quite a while now.

The kid looks quite exciting and I'm keen to watch him develop.

He certainly has plenty of positive traits to work with and plays in a similar fashion to Gunners.

Did we end up trading our 4th Round Selection this year for him or was it the one that we received from the WBD in the Taylor Duryea trade?

Also the fact that we got a 5th Round Selection off Collingwood in the trade also makes the trade even better.

We really need someone like Moore to step up and show us he has what it takes. Hopefully, he'll get his chance. We've been building our defence and midfield but our forward line will be bereft of talent when Roughie and Poppy go, and they are not far off leaving us with a quality forward line of only Gunston, Breust and Wingard. That leaves three whole fwd spots to fill. We're trying to fast track Nash for this very reason but we're still a key forward and small forward short. If guys like Moore and Lewis aren't showing enough by then, we'll need to see who we can bring in from outside the club. However, this is the year to see who on the list is up to it, not next year.

Will Gould pictured in the second row of Redman's post photo made his debut for Glenelg in the SANFL last week- looks a VERY capable key back.

If he is injured, it would be nice to have a bit of an update on him in the Bupa Injury Report on Tuesday evening.
We don't tend to talk about players not in the selection frame unless it's serious like Mohr was.

Didn't play for BHH on Sunday....injured?
They said he had some knee soreness a while back, he's been restricted by it during the preseason a bit

It wasn't a trade at all. We drafted him.

Ditto. Similar to Worpel, seems to have an AFL ready body so could be a fast developer/early entrant into the Seniors
Seems to be a good prospect for poppy's spot when the time comes. Moore and Hanrahan have been solid but I like my small forwards with more flair. Cyril and poppy were so good together not just for the pressure and goals but they would both regularly jump on heads and compete in the air. If you look back at top small forwards betts, farmer, matera etc.. They could all do it not many get by just by being a goal sneak.
