None. Not even a whisper. The only recent news is that the Port Club is getting a redevelopment.
We need $8 mill minimum start up funds and $40 mill in total.
We aint getting that as long as my butt points to the ground, so unless China unlocks a few golden nuggets, the development is probably dead in the water.

Please be something of substance
It will be an election promise. That is not substance until there is a victory by Labor and then a promise delivered. Helps that seat of Port Adelaide has been abolished and new seat for the area of Hindmarsh is more marginal.

What we've been needing for some of that pork barrel gold. Hopefully the Libs try and out bid them. Any one here living in that seat, if asked who'll they'll vote for say the Coalition, even if you won't, so the polls look closer and offers pour in.

Oh to be Geelong ...

Or Alberton could be South Australia's Mercedes Benz Stadium

On the other hand, if Footy Park had been in a marginal seat we might be still playing there, with it's 'futuristic wings' and a train line there. It's not all bad.
Haha there is always swings and roundabouts.

2016 election PA Labor 2 party as preferred 65.86% Xenephon candidate was second. Hindmarsh Labor 2 party preferred 50.58%. Liberal Matt Williams lost seat after winning it in 2013 with 51.89%.

Redrawn boundaries suggest Labor starts with 58.2%. Adelaide has gone from 54.65% to 59.0%.

Need Dock One and other developments at the Port to take off and bring in Liberal voters,

For SA to maintain its 10 federal seats until 2030, SA has to increase population by 30k+ each year for 11 consecutive years, unless immigration levels are slashed. That wont happen.

If SA loses another seat when the next redistribution is done in 6 or 7 years time, or the one after that, I think Port Adelaide area just goes back to 2016 type levels.

That gives around 3 electoral cycles to make hay. We should be BFFs with every major federal candidate.

As well as the Alberton redevelopment hints, Rooch also mentioned that there will be "a big announcement in Melbourne tomorrow" re the China game. I expect that'll just be a routine get together with St Kilda about nothing earth shattering rather than Jack Ma handing Kochie a cheque for $5m.

Make hay happens when the area is in a 50.8% seat, not 58.0% seat.

That's a good start. :)
Just another $32mill to go. :thumbsu:
A little less unless prices have gone up since March 2018. Those plans were $35m. We already have $4m from the feds sitting in a bank account.
