Tv ratings crater after 9:30 on the east coast/SA timezones where 90% of the population live. A 2nd Friday match would be an awful idea.

Agree on a double header, & the WA clubs will continue to live with the current arrangement. Fixturing good games remains the real problem.

Official crowd: 70,699 at the MCG

Quite pathetic for a match of this calibre. My pre-game estimate was 75k and people thought I was being looney, looks like that was an overestimation. What a strange fixture.

Thursday night on a regular basis will struggle for crowds IMHO, one off, its an event.

once every couple of weeks might work, plus a concentration first few rounds and final few rounds.
