As of right now, you'd still probably say Fyfe, Dangerfield and Martin make up the best trio of midfielders in the competition, but all three of them are now in their late 20s. Meanwhile Cripps, Bontempelli and Kelly all from the 2013 draft, all turn 24 this year, edging ever closer to their peak.

Who said the flag was his doing? He was the best player for our club all year in the year we won a flag while beating your mob in the PF, and AA in the same year. Won the B&F the following year too.

One year that was ordinary by his high standards, even though he clearly played very limited.

Enjoy Kelly this year, it’ll be the last year you see him in your colours anyway.

Oliver in terms of ability and what he delivers sure. He is younger and less experienced though, so in that sense doesn't really fit.

Had an injured hip and subsequently had surgery afterwards. Started coming good last year and it showed with his output.

At the rate he’s started this season, it might only be another couple of rounds before most are reminded that the Bont is back to 100%

Well yeah, most would trade individual success for team success in an instant. But that's not the point you or I were making and you know it.

Only a Bulldog supporter would argue Zaine Cordy is a better footballer than Gary Ablett.
