Agree with this. I miss the old time slots that were better like the Saturday and Sunday 2.10pm starts. The Sunday 3.20pm and 4.40pm twilight need to be removed.

Delayed on free-to-air TV however. With extra ads and timed to finish seconds before 6pm. Easy to forget how s**t coverage was not even a decade ago.

It was delayed coverage in the internet era too, you had to do a complete media blackout if you wanted to avoid having the end result spoiled, farce.

It would seem Afl is bad at scheduling matches. Here's another example;

By Round 4 this year, Richmond will have played CONSECUTIVE interstate matches. Round 4. This is a team that plays 5 interstate matches for the entire season.

This exact thing also happens to Collingwood and Geelong this season. 5 interstate matches for the year, 2 of which are played consecutively.
