What exactly has Lycett done to be in so many peoples team? McEvoy so far has been the best ruckman after round 3. This is where he ranks amongst the rucks in these areas

B: Moore, Andrews, T.Stewart
HB: Rich, McGovern, Sicily
C: Whitfield, Fyfe (C), Boak
HF: T.Kelly, Gunston, Sexton
F: C.Cameron, J.Cameron, De Goey
Foll: McEvoy, Neale, Dangerfield
Bench: Cripps, Bontempelli, Macrae, D.Sheed

No real CHF has entered the fray yet so Gunston keeps his spot despite being quietish today (16 touches, 1 goal). Starting mids pick themselves for now, although Cripps/Bont/Macrae could be the starting centre mid if Fyfe remains a bit quieter. The 3 small forwards and J.Cameron pick themselves, while Kelly is the most 'flankish' of all the mids who have earned selection. Back 6 is fairly straight forward, left Lloyd out for the hurt factor of the others, don't think Sicily really deserves to be left out based on a few umpiring calls in 2 minutes last week - has otherwise been super. McEvoy the premier ruck right now although with each week that goes Grundy/Gawn's round 1 is worth less (at this stage it's 33% of the season but after 7 or 8 rounds it's not that bad to have 1 bad game and 6 starring ones).

Squad:
B.Crouch, McCluggage, Treloar, Grundy, Shiel, Hamling, Kolodjashnij, Dahlhaus, Hardwick, Cunnington, R.Gray, Jonas, J.P.Kennedy, Shuey, Hurn, Liberatore

Probably missed a few but tried to pick a spread of players for the remaining 16.

Dunno why Bontempelli and Macrae are so popular, as a Bulldog fan, Bontempelli's ball use in round 2-3 was shockingly well off his standard. I reckon if any Bulldog mid deserves a mention, its Libba. Getting a lot of the ball each week, hardly lose a clearance anytime he attends, and his contested ball and clearance rate would have to be up there with the best of them this year. Quietly going about it and a little underrated at the moment. Deserves to be part of the discussion if he keeps it up each week. Only reason he probably doesn't get much talk is too many people use Supercoach as their guide for good players, the fact he isn't scoring big. He doesn't scream class/attention seeking each week like some of the leagues flashy players.

Libba > Macrae > Bontempelli in that order.

Tom Lynch is a walk up starter at this point. Crucified Port Adelaide on the weekend.

2 games in and Andrew Gaff has showed how dynamic he is amassing 30+ disposals in both. He looks like a man on a mission after the lengthy suspension last year combined with the burning heartache of missing out on a prem.

Professionalism at it's finest.
