Thought Nick Bowen was great for us, but Marc McGowan has taken it to a whole new level and he's already putting Brads feet to the fire and asking the questions fans want.

He's doing a great job.
as opposed to the crap NMFC puts up on its own site, you would think we were swimming 3 and zip at the moment rather than the other way round.

The damage control is quite absurd, and we're going radio silent acting as if the season isn't ****ed.

Reminder we posted a season launch video potting the media and saying 'NEVER BEATEN'.

Well we're zip and three now, and looking at the next five we'd be lucky to have a single win.
Sack the coach now before we derail any harder.

Can't do it mate.

We'd have to sack the General Managers for Consumer, People & Culture, Community Engagement and Dolphins & Unicorns, in order to pay for him.
So be it if that mean old boys, Crocker and McDonald are gone too - more than happy for that. Too many riding on the coat tails of mediocrity I am over it. Need a clean sweep - all out and Donald can take his son with him

How long are we looking for this to happen?

I can see it this year, if results continue, but he does get away on easy street because we are totally irrelevant (which is somewhat his doing over the last decade)

I could maybe see a win against the blues in round 7 - maybe. Not many other games we will start faves in.

If port beat us by 100 points in Adelaide will he get the chop?

Peter Sumich.

At every single club he has been involved in he has been lauded for his development of players. Players play for him. Would have good balance between old school coaching and new school on field development.

Not even in the system now, happy to have him as an assistant but not the main man.

How DARE you people pot our high quality media department!

The Crocker / Mc Donald situation is dicey because they are both wonderful servants of the club, especially Crock who is universally loved.

But if that what it takes to lure a good coach then they need to do the honourable thing and fall on their swords, for the sake of the club

Yeah, it was disappointing to lose Nick Bowen from covering North with his departure from afl.com.au, but McGowan is an excellent replacement. Incredible amount of respect for him actually asking the questions that the fans want asked instead of the generic bullshit that most journos come out with at the bigger outlets, which generally happens because they don't want their cushy media passes threatened.
The fourth estate lacks Marc McGowan types in general.

Too many insiders seduced by their perceived position, and not enough external observers seeking the truth of the matter. The latter is a much less comfortable place to be, and therefore requires ticker.

Sam Mitchell. If he coaches like he plays we are set. Also the media loves him which is a good thing for a club struggling for exposure.
Dont judge a coach by the way he played. Prime example: B Scott.

Matthew Clarke should be high on the list.

Bassett is a nob.

Don't disagree on Crocker but McDonald was an average player and seriously what has he done????? Apart from keep his dud son in the side.
We need a clean sweep, anyone there more than 5 years is walking on eggshells

Did you deliberately sort this list in decreasing name length?
Pretty cool eh?... and TBH I didn’t, it just came out of my very small cranium in descending order for some weird reason..

If we are going to develop from the kids up, none better, I have worked with him and he is an awesome development coach.

He's been head hunted by a few clubs, but is currently the head development coach for the WA academy, so he's still connected
