Hearty congratulations to Levi Casboult on a marvellous performance, can't really drop him after he put in a barnstorming performance like that.

Also SPS. Pure Silk.

Charlie has been terrible this year...aside from the injuries has looked a little lazy and laconic.

It would send a strong message to play him in the VFL next week and keep Casboult in...Casboult doesn't deserve to be dropped he was excellent. I also don't want to play all 4 like we did vs GC...doesn't work.

McGovern didn't have a great game today but has been decent this year and still building fitness.

I'm all for it if the coaches do it.

We knew we could do it Soap, they bagged Casboult they bagged Gibbons and most of all they bagged Bolton and the coaching which was sensational today, but we backed em in and now we reap the rewards congrats Soap.

Finally, well done everyone
This has been building, but we needed a win
The forward line is looking good, the defence has been solid all year and the mids are learning

Wow - SPS and the continuation of Walsh!
Better let Soapy V take over!

The big difference was intelligent (mostly) kicks into forward line - thank goodness this improved from last weeks debacle.

However Blues could have kicked another 8 goals if not for the brain fades and lack of composure along the way.

Eg.
Harry trying a Buddy impersonation instead of “over the top” to Levi.
Murphy kicking a wedge to SOS instead of a 3 iron (in last minute of game)
Dow missed 2 sitters and stuffed up another.
Etc etc.

Still so much improvement to come.

Great win today by the boys.....a solid contribution by all players...tackled, marked didnt blast the ball in hope, but lowered eyes and hit targets....special mention to SPS, Crippa, Walsh and Mckay.....hearing the song and watching the boys sing it....priceless.....

View attachment 659118Can we just give this guy the Rising Star award already. Just keeps playing good games
Can you believe that Muppet David King things it's harder to play fwd at port (rozee) than midfield at cfc (walsh)

Brereton backed us up. Walsh ave of 26, 45% contested and kms p game off the charts, demands the RS

I agree. he seemed to add some direction to our midfield efforts. Very smart player. Hope they keep him in there

Gibbons was very good.

He gave us far more drive in the middle than Setterfield was in the first 4 rounds. Finally got his first goal with a classy snap.
Keep him in this role please.

"Err..... sorry about that fifth bounce."

It is so much better to win, whilst leaving a few goals out there
You know the coaches will hit them with these stuff ups and this is great for improvements
