At this point Daisy rates a game on the grounds of his leadership, wily old head and desperation. In a team full of infants, we still need that influence.

And I would suggest that his disposal by foot right now is more than adequate.

Its pretty clear that this is his last year, but he has value.

I see it differently, 3 talls Weitering Jones Marchbank are enough. No way Newman goes out, Simpson out only when he retires.

Well 1-4 aside I like the trend so far. We are losing small but winning big .....

I rate Dow along with SPS but he's 2 seasons behind him. What Dow is doing at the moment after a poor pre season is impressive

No doubt this is part of the issue with his disposal...fatigue. We know he's not the best kick but he isn't as bad as what has been on show at times this season.

For all the flak he is copping, he isn't getting the praise for his positive play. His clearance work has been great to watch, fast and clean hands and link up running.

He has a lot to work on but what 2nd year player doesn't. He has taken a step forward in terms of his ball winning taking his avg from 14 to 19. Small sample size but this is a positive step and he is on track.

The idea of having players go back into the "magoo's" to recover form is a good idea. Charlie isn't 100% ATM, and is well down on form. So having him run around in the VFL for a couple of weeks is probably a good option. It allows him to get his body right and to gain form and confidence.

Let me tell you something ok. Thomas along with Simmo has been the heart and soul of our team the last two seasons when Murph and Kreuzer were missing. The only ones in a sea of fresh young faces. A few dodgy kicks and some frees given over in the fight to lead the way are nothing. Last year when we had no run it was he that ran the length of the ground so many times as if to say come on fellas like this. Attack. This from a guy that was almost done for because of an ankle. Yesterday and all season so far Daisy was immense. A comeback like Lazarus.
