So we all agree that ravens qb can’t throw accurately take away his run. The bengals are... well their the bengals, daltons a crab. But what about the Steelers? How will they go next season

How things have changed. The draft is less than a week away, and it barely even registers into Browns fans thinking.

Consensus seems to be that Dorsey wants Jeffery Simmons, which I'd certainly be okay with. Be a crazy talented interior defensive line when he recovers from his injury. Either way, I'd be expecting a trade up to the late first/early second round - whether it's for Simmons or probably one of the top rated CBs. Then use the mid round picks for more pass rush depth and linebackers.

Also anyone who isn't watching the Building The Browns web series should get on that.

Anyone got a list of the ins and outs since the season ended ?

So why did we trade Ogbah for him? Seems like we just got rid of Ogbah for the sake of it
It was all part of getting Beckham. We had to give up a S (Peppers) and so had to do something to get one back. Murray is a solid unspectacular DB. He'll hold up. They needed to get one back. Ogbah was expendable. There's plenty of DE talent in the draft. Browns moving value around during the off-season. They'll then sure up DB and DE in the draft, earliest picks.

Think it comes down to a few reasons. Ogbah would have been good depth, but ultimately Dorsey sees Chad Thomas as being just as good/better. And he already has Chris Smith and Anthony Zettel contracted as 'veteran' backups. Plus Ogbah was in his final year of his deal, with it almost guaranteed that he'd leave in free agency for more money or a starting spot then you may as well develop the next guy now.

Eric Murray meanwhile provides safety depth that we didn't have, and he's young enough that he should still have improvement to come. He'll back up Randall at FS, and play in 3 safety sets. Plus he's a special teams standout, an area we were horrible in last year.
